  • Patent number: 9114533
Abstract: A method and system for removing mortar from a plurality of joints between a plurality of masonry units in a masonry structure is provided. The steps for accomplishing the method include sensing the location of at least one of the plurality of joints between the plurality of masonry units and transmitting joint location data to a computer control system. The computer control system computes a work path based upon the joint location data and controls the position and operation of at least one work tool such that the work tool moves along the a portion of the work path to remove mortar from a portion of one of the plurality of joints along the work path.

  • Patent number: 8636111
Abstract: A suspension platform system having a work platform suspended between a sinistral modular mast and a dextral modular mast by a hoisting system. The modular masts are composed of at least two mast units stacked vertically and attached to one another. Each mast unit has a multifunction rail including a plurality of safety engagement devices and a stabilizer guide device, and a unit interconnection device. The work platform has at least two mast stabilizers that cooperate with the stabilizer guide devices to prevent undesired swaying of the suspended work platform. The work platform has a plurality of platform mast engagers cooperating with at least one of the mast safety engagement devices to releasably lock the platform to the modular masts. • Patent number: 8397382
Abstract: A method of repairing a wind turbine blade while mounted on a tower without removing the blade from the tower is provided. The method may begin by positioning the wind turbine blade in a substantially vertical orientation. Next, a blade reinforcement structure is secured to the blade to reduce stress on a portion of the blade. The blade is repaired by removing a damaged portion of the blade, and installing a repair portion to the blade where the damaged portion was removed. The method may conclude by removing the blade reinforcement structure from the blade.

  • Patent number: 7364164
Abstract: A reconfigurable golf game having an interchangeable body, a hollow shaft, a swing actuation system, and a coupler. The coupler allows a user that purchases one game system including multiple interchangeable bodies to easily attach different interchangeable bodies to the hollow shaft thereby changing the game. The various interchangeable bodies mimic the look and swing characteristics of modem professional golfers. The swing actuation system includes a translational motion system, including a rack and prime mover, and a rotational motion system, including a pinion. In operation the user grips the hollow shaft and activates the translation motion system by pulling the prime mover, and thus the rack, away from the interchangeable body, the rotational motion system pinion cooperates with the rack thereby causing the rotating body portion to rotate from a maximum backswing position to a maximum follow-through position, striking the replica golf ball.
