    Abstract: Techniques related to wireless communication are disclosed. Some aspects of the disclosure relate to devices and methods for improving a quality of service (QoS) by reporting near-real-time feedback relating to a delay experienced by packets queued for transmission, and dynamically scheduling a wireless station to transmit and meet its QoS. A wireless station (STA) obtains one or more packets for transmission, the packets being associated with a delay condition. The STA outputs for transmission a delay status report that includes information relating to the delay condition associated with the one or more packets. In response, the STA obtains a resource allocation for transmission of the one or more packets according to the information relating to the delay condition. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: A computer system is configured to manage a value of a variable via firmware. Managing the value of the variable includes detecting a system management interrupt (SMI), causing the computer system to enter a system management mode, in which a request associated with the SMI is handled by the firmware. In response to determining that the SMI is generated by a baseboard management controller (BMC) and that a cause thereof is associated with reading or writing a value of a variable, one or more parameters associated with the variable are obtained from the BMC. Based on the cause of the request and the one or more parameters, the value of the variable is read or overwritten with a new value. The value or the new value is then sent to the BMC, which in turn passes the value or new value to a second computer system over a network.

    Abstract: A diagnostic ultrasound system has a 2D array transducer which is operated with 1×N patches, patches which are only a single element wide. The “N” length of the patches extends in the elevation direction of a scanned 2D image plane, with the single element width extending in the lateral (azimuth) direction. Focusing is done along each patch in the elevation direction by a microbeamformer, and focusing in the lateral (azimuth) direction is done by the system beamformer. The minimal width of each patch in the azimuth direction enables the production of images highly resolved in the azimuthal plane of a 2D image, including the reception of highly resolved multilines for high frame rate imaging.

The method includes grading, by the processing device, a cosmetic appearance of each region of interest based on the identified defects. The processing device selects a largest matching score from the matching score for each of the plurality of portions as a first matching score for the component as selected and the image as selected.
