Transactions between network components may be monitored in accordance with at least some embodiments. Dependencies may be identified between network applications and/or network devices based on detected transactions detected between those network components. A network topology may then be generated for a network based on the identified dependencies. In some embodiments, the network topology may be used to determine an impact score for one or more network components within the network. An impact score may be used to make determinations with respect to the network.

The autoscaling application is configured to provide an interface to define an autoscale policy including scale in rules and scale out rules for a plurality of different types of resource instances of a tenant. The autoscaling application is configured to receive capacity data corresponding to a first type of the plurality of different types of resource instances; calculate an estimated instance count for scaling in the first type based on the capacity data and scale in rules; calculate a projection factor based on an estimated instance count and a current instance count; generate adjusted capacity data based on current capacity data and the projection factor; compare the adjusted capacity data and the scale out rules; and selectively scale in the first type based on the comparison.

The device includes a wireless antenna to transmit and receive wireless signals; a memory to store one or more identifiers; a user interface to receive a command that enables the emergency mode. The device also includes one or more processors, which, in response to the command, detect via the wireless receiver a predetermined identifier that matches a stored identifier identifying a sender of the predetermined identifier as a trusted node. When the predetermined identifier and a timing measurement frame are received from the trusted node, the device sends a response to the trusted node to indicate its presence.
