Abstract: A method for providing an enterprise with a situational awareness for conditions related to aircraft departure is described. The method includes receiving data related to one or more events that have the potential to affect conditions related to an aircraft's departure from a plurality of enterprise related systems, correlating the received data in accordance with one or more business rules, generating an aircraft departure situational awareness data set from the correlated data, processing the aircraft departure situational awareness data set in view of at least one user profile, and providing at least one recommendation, each recommendation associated with one user profile, directed to addressing the conditions related to aircraft departure.

Abstract: Methods and systems for modeling functional processes in enterprises, and for simulating and valuing the effects of various products and services on those processes, are described herein. The cost of disruptions in service of commercial fleets of transportation vehicles such as aircraft, is assessed. The causes of the disruptions are determined and for each such cause, disruption events are classified according to their duration. The cost factors are established and then accumulated to reflect the cost per cause and severity of disruption. Curves are developed that allow users to identify the disruptions that are most costly.

Abstract: A system for automatic micro and macro inspection of patterned wafers, including a X-Y stage for supporting and positioning a wafer at a macro inspection station and a micro inspection station, a plurality of cassettes for storing a plurality of patterned wafers before and after inspection, a transfer arm and apparatus for transferring a wafer from the cassettes to a predetermined location on the X-Y stage, apparatus for centering the wafer on the macro inspection station, apparatus for aligning the wafer to obtain a preselected orientation for macro inspection, an optical system for effecting macro inspection of the wafer and storing a unique image thereof, apparatus for moving the wafer from the macro inspection station to the micro inspection station so that the area of the wafer corresponding to the stored unique image is in a micro optical path, autofocus apparatus for automatically focusing the lowest magnification objective lens on the area of the wafer to derive a real time image, a comparitor for com
