  • Patent number: 6197802
Abstract: Compounds of formula (I), wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkyloxiranyl, alkanoyl, alkoxycarbonyl, formyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkanoyloxyalkyl, hydroximinoalkyl, alkoxyiminoalkyl, hydrazonoalkyl or alkylhydrazonoalkyl group; R2 represents an alkoxy group; R3 and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R5 represents an alkyl group, and R6 represents a group of formula —COOR7 or —CONR7R8, in which R7 and R8 show excellent fungicifal activity and systemicity and are thus useful in various agricultural applications.

  • Patent number: 6110308
Abstract: In a process for the manufacture of explosives from old explosive materials, especially from cyclonite or mixtures containing cyclonite, wherein the old explosive materials are wetted with an organic solvent and transformed into a crumbly mass, the crumbly mass is directly fed into a mixer in which it is mixed with at least an inorganic nitrate and in the process dried into the finished explosive through evaporation of the solvent.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 28, 1999
Date of Patent: August 29, 2000
    Assignee: Wasagchemie Sythen GmbH
    Inventors: Gerhard Ewald, Wilhelm Behlert
  • Patent number: 5682004
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for reducing the grain size of crystalline explosive provide for, first of all, dissolving the coarse crystalline explosive in an organic solvent. Subsequently, the dissolved explosive is brought together with ice water in a precipitation reactor. In the precipitation reactor the precipitation and crystallization of the explosive occur, while turbulent agitation takes place. A filtration stage is connected downstream of the precipitation reactor. A fine crystalline explosive is obtained, having a mean particle size of from 4 to 6 micrometers.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 3, 1996
Date of Patent: October 28, 1997
    Assignee: Wasagchemie Sythen GmbH
    Inventors: Gregor Fels, Gerhard Ewald
