  • Patent number: 11516803
Abstract: Methods and devices configured to perform wireless communications, the methods and devices configured to monitor a frequency band for one or more other Radio Access Technologies (RATs); determine one or more periods of a reduced interference with the one or more other RATs in one or more frequencies of the monitored frequency band; and communicate a first signal during the one or more periods in the more or more frequencies, and communicate a second signal in the frequency band based on the communication of the first signal.

  • Publication number: 20220148428
Abstract: This invention concerns a system and a method for the management of delimited areas distributed on a territory. A predisposition of a plurality devices distributed on the territory is provided, each one capable of monitoring a predetermined area, each distributed device being of an “embedded” type and includes: a local “embedded” processor connected to at least one video camera positioned nearby and from which it acquires the images that it processes according to a “deep learning” module and “Computer Vision” technique. The deep learning model is based on a CNN (computer neural network) for the detection of vehicles occupying spaces and the identification of areas that can be occupied, both in delimited areas with a defined layout and in areas with an undefined layout, the data processed being sent to a central unit via an Internet network in one example.

  • Patent number: 10244519
Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE), comprises physical layer (PHY) circuitry, wherein the PHY circuitry includes a radio frequency (RF) transceiver comprising: a first receive path configured to receive RF signals from an enhanced node B (eNB) of a cellular network and down convert the received RF signals using a local oscillator (LO) receive frequency; and a second receive path configured to down-convert received RF signals from the eNB and to operate simultaneously with the first communication path; and processing circuitry configured to: determine that a configured transmission mode of the UE supports receiving data using a single receive channel and includes receive antenna diversity; determine channel conditions using at least one channel quality metric; and; disable one of the first and second receive paths during a portion of a subframe transmitted during a downlink (DL) communication according to the determined transmission mode and the determined channel conditions.
