Abstract: A plastic container with a bottom and, connecting continuously onto the edge thereof a standing wall of random shape defining an upper circular edge portion on which can be placed a cover provided with a peripheral groove for receiving the edge portion, the cover and the edge portion being provided with co-acting locking elements. The locking elements include on the one hand by a number of L-shaped locking members distributed uniformly over the periphery, one leg being fixed to the cover or to the edge portion of the container such that it is oriented perpendicularly to the bottom, and on the other hand by an outward pointing lip on the edge portion or the cover and against which the other leg of the locking member can be placed.

Abstract: A cover for a filling or dispenser spout (5) for a storage holder such as a liquid container, which cover consists of a circular body (1) having arranged along the periphery thereof a flange member (2) provided with fastening means (3) such as a screw-thread, co-operating with the spout (5) and a sealing ring (7) fitted inside the flange member, wherein the circular part of the cover located inside the sealing ring is provided with a discharge opening (8) which can be closed off from the container content by a pressure sensitive closing means (9) arranged inside the cover, said closing means being a dome-like structure (13) co-operating with a diaphragm (10) with a passage opening (12), such that the content of a storage holder can be vented without the content thereof, for instance an aggressive liquid, being able to escape to the outside.

Abstract: A container, particularly suited to storing sensitive products such as contaminated waste, for example hospital refuse, the container 1 having a base with adjoining upright wall members 4, whereby the open top bounded by the upper edges of the wall members can be closed by a cover 5, whose rim is supported by the upper edges of the wall members, wherein the rim of the cover displays a groove or channel 6 which can accommodate the top edge of the upright wall members, whereby the rim of the cover and the upper edge of the container are provided with integral locking means 8,9,10 for permanently fixing the cover 5 to the container 1, and a sealing means 7, 12 is fitted in the channel, to close the container temporarily while permanent locking of the cover is easy to perform manually, and, moreover, can be confirmed visually.
