  • Publication number: 20220227551
Abstract: A container security system includes a container chassis and a closure subsystem coupled to the container chassis. The container chassis may define a container volume configured to house a material. The closure subsystem may include a closure chassis, a closure security subsystem, a first communication interface, and a security engine. The closure chassis may be configured to limit a removal of the material from the container volume. The closure security subsystem may be configured to detect a tamper event experienced by the closure chassis and generate a sensor signal based on the detected tamper event. The security engine may be configured to receive the sensor signal indicating that the closure chassis has experienced the tamper event. The security engine may be configured to provide, via the first communication interface and based on receipt of the sensor signal, a notification that the closure chassis has experienced the tamper event.

  • Publication number: 20220195766
Abstract: A container chassis coupling device includes a first mounting bracket that has a first locking bar securing element that is configured to secure the first mounting bracket to a first locking bar on a container, and a second mounting bracket that is slidably coupled to the first mounting bracket and that includes a second locking bar securing element that is configured to secure the second mounting bracket to a second locking bar on the container. The container chassis coupling device prevents the first locking bar and the second locking bar from being oriented from a locked orientation to an unlocked orientation. The container chassis coupling device also includes a node mounting device that is coupled to the first mounting bracket or the second mounting bracket and that is configured to couple a node chassis of a node device to the container chassis coupling device.

  • Patent number: 11325763
Abstract: A container security system includes a container chassis and a closure subsystem coupled to the container chassis. The closure subsystem includes a closure chassis that prevents movement of a material between a container volume and an exterior of the container chassis via an aperture defined by the container chassis. The closure subsystem includes a closure security sensor that generates a closure sensor signal when the closure chassis experiences a tamper event. A first type communication interface is housed in the closure chassis and a security engine provided by the closure subsystem receives a sensor signal indicating that the closure chassis has experienced the tamper event. The security engine then provides, in response to receiving the sensor signal and using the first type communication interface, a notification to a corresponding first type communication interface that the closure chassis has experienced the tamper event.

  • Patent number: 11257352
Abstract: A container network includes a first container system that includes a first container first type communication interface, and a second container system that includes a second container first type communication interface. The second container system communicatively couples to the first container first type communication interface via the second container first type communication interface to form a first container-to-container connection. The second container system performs an exchange of election information of the first container system and second container system with the first container system via the first container-to-container connection, and elects, based on the election information, a second container second type communication interface included on the second container system to provide container network communications to a wide area network.

  • Patent number: 11190924
Abstract: A tracking device for a track and rescue system that wirelessly couples to a control system via a first link established between a control system first type wireless communication interface coupled to the control system and a tracking device first type wireless communication interface included in the tracking device when the tracking device first type wireless communication interface is within range of the control system first type wireless communication interface. The tracking device determines that a first predetermine time period has been satisfied, and in response, determines location information for the tracking device using the positioning system. The tracking device sends, in response to the first predetermined time period being satisfied, an alive signal to the control system via the first link, and the alive signal includes the location information.
