  • Patent number: 10221992
Abstract: A tool holder. The tool holder is mounted to a platform (9) and comprises a plurality of legs (1) extending from respective positions on the platform (9) for connecting the platform (9) to respective positions on the workpiece. Each leg (1) has a first joint system (8a) at its platform end allowing each leg (1) to pivot relative to the platform (9). Each first joint system (8a) has an actuator arrangement (34) having a first operating mode in which the actuator arrangement (34) is configured to apply a load to move the respective leg (1), and a second operating mode in which the actuator arrangement (34) is configured to allow free movement of the respective leg (1).

  • Publication number: 20170229672
Abstract: An organic light emitting device comprises a light emitting layer comprising a light emitting polymer; and an electron transporting layer on the light emitting layer and comprising an electron transporting material and an n-donor material. The electron transporting layer comprises at least 20 percent by weight of the n-donor material. By using an electron transporting layer comprising at least 20 percent by weight of the n-donor material it is possible to realise devices with an electron transporting layer having a thickness of less than 20 nm.

  • Patent number: 9373554
Abstract: A method of monitoring an OLED production process for making an OLED device is disclosed. According to the method, at least one reference OLED device similar to said OLED device is fabricated. Said at least one reference OLED device has a layered structure corresponding to said OLED device and a range of hole injection and/or transport layer thicknesses. A spectral variation of a light output of said at least one reference OLED device with respect to variation in said hole injection and/or transport layer thickness is characterized. A said OLED device is partially fabricated by depositing one or more layers comprising at least said hole injection and/or transport layer and a thickness of said one or more layers is measured such that a light output for said partially fabricated OLED device can be predicted, in a target color space, from said measuring, using said characterized spectral variation.

  • Publication number: 20100206350
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a photovoltaic cell array of the type comprising a primary electrode array and a counter-electrode array together defining a series-connected sequence of cells, each containing electrolyte which is insulated from direct electrical contact with the electrolyte of neighbouring cells, the method comprising: (a) depositing electrolyte into the cells; and (b) sensing the level of electrolyte deposited.

  • Publication number: 20060158323
Abstract: A warning system for vehicles includes a controller and a light arrangement mounted to a vehicle. The controller includes a g force sensor configured to measure a g force value being exerted on the vehicle. The light arrangement is operationally coupled to the controller and is configured to flash at different flash rates based on the measured g force values sensed by the controller. The controller can be operationally coupled to a brake light sensor and can be numerically leveled upon activation of the brake light sensor.

  • Patent number: 6168388
Abstract: A system and method that permits fluids, such as petroleum, to be pumped from two separate zones. A submergible pumping system, including a submergible electric motor driving a submergible pump, is deployed in a wellbore. The submergible pump intake is located in a first zone to intake a fluid. The fluid is discharged through a fluid-powered pump, such as a jet pump. The jet pump is coupled to a fluid intake disposed in a separate zone within the wellbore. The single system can be utilized to pump fluids from two different zones.
