  • Publication number: 20240104093
Abstract: A method for automatically annotating unstructured computer content associated with computer resources with additional contextual information from structured computer data sources is provided. The method may include, automatically identifying data elements within the unstructured computer content and matching extraction templates to the data elements. The method may further include automatically extracting an entity from the data elements using the extraction templates. The method may further include querying the structured computer data sources using the extracted entity to identify a data record in the structured computer data sources matching the entity. The method may further include extracting data from the data record and generating natural language text using the extracted data. The method may further include automatically annotating the unstructured computer content with the additional contextual information by inserting the generated natural language text into the unstructured computer content.

  • Patent number: 11682204
Abstract: A method provides for assistance in recognition of an entity. A set of data and associated information corresponding to a plurality of entities known to an assisted user is received, such that an instance of the set of data and associated information includes identification of a respective entity of the plurality of entities known to an assisted user. Real-time data corresponding to a first entity is received from one or more devices capturing the real-time data. The real-time data is compared to the set of data and associated information corresponding to the plurality of entities known to the user to determine whether the first entity has a known relevance to the user, and in response to determining the first entity does have a known relevance to the user, the processor provides the identity and relevance of the first entity to the user.

  • Patent number: 11681732
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for optimizing search query results is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes receiving a first natural language query, selecting a plurality of search query patterns based on the first natural language query, assigning a weight to each search query pattern in the plurality of search query patterns, generating one or more weighted keyword queries from each search query pattern based on the weight assigned to each search query pattern and one or more keywords from the first natural language query, evaluating a relevancy of one or more search results returned by each of the one or more weighted keyword queries for the first natural language query, and iteratively altering the weight assigned to a search query pattern until an optimal number of relevant search results are returned from the search query pattern for the first natural language query.

  • Publication number: 20230154184
Abstract: A method for automatically annotating an intended video with at least one personalized recap video based on previously viewed videos is provided. The method may include automatically tracking user viewership of the previously viewed videos, and in response to detecting an intention to view the intended video: automatically identifying and extracting a subset of video footage from one or more of the previously viewed videos based on the tracked user viewership and based on a determined relevancy of the subset of video footage to content in the intended video; generating the at least one personalized recap video by compiling and sorting the extracted subset of video footage from the one or more previously viewed videos into a compilation video; and annotating the intended video with the at least one personalized video by presenting the at least one personalized recap video on the intended video.

  • Patent number: 11574017
Abstract: An input question enhancement mechanism is provided for merging sub-question results in Question and Answer (QA) systems in order to answer an input question submitted from a user. A plurality of sub-questions associated with the input question is identified. Responsive to submitting the set of questions to a QA pipeline of the QA system, a set of answers and a set of passages related to the set of answers corresponding to each of the plurality of sub-questions are received. A mapping is applied to the set of passages to form a consolidated set of passages. The set of answers is then merged into the mapping so as to generate a consolidated set of answers. A factoid question response report is generated with answers from the consolidated set of answers and passages from the consolidated set of passages. The factoid question response report is then provided to the user.

  • Patent number: 11210590
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes generating from a corpus a knowledge graph comprising a plurality of nodes interconnected by a plurality of edges. Each node of the plurality of nodes represents an entity extracted from the corpus. Each edge of the plurality of edges represents a relationship between corresponding entities extracted from the corpus. The knowledge graph includes a plurality of source passages extracted from the corpus from which the plurality of edges was generated. A generative language model is trained, for each edge of the plurality of edges, to associate two or more related entities by utilizing the knowledge graph. Using the trained generative language model, one or more passages representing the edge of the knowledge graph are generated for each edge of the knowledge graph.

  • Publication number: 20210314650
Abstract: An approach is provided in which the approach receives a media stream comprising an audio stream and a video stream. The audio stream includes a set of audio tones inserted at a set of predetermined frame intervals, and the video stream includes a set of predetermined colors inserted into a set of predetermined pixel locations at the predetermined frame intervals. The approach determines that an audio frame in the audio stream at which the set of audio tones are inserted is misaligned in time with a video frame in the video stream at which the set of predetermined colors are included in the set of predetermined pixel locations. The approach synchronizes the audio stream with the video stream in response to the determination and aligns in time the audio frame with the video frame at one of the predetermined frame intervals.

  • Patent number: 11106717
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a plurality of question, answer, passage (QAP) triples. Each of the plurality of QAP triples includes a question, an answer to the question and a passage containing the answer to the question. The received plurality of QAP triples is parsed to generate two or more patterns. The generated patterns are merged together to identify clusters of semantically related patterns.
