  • Patent number: 11824261
Abstract: Described is a method for manufacturing a radio frequency (RF) absorber. The method includes first determining a set of desired RF absorption properties for a RF absorber. A computer model for the RF absorber having the determined set of desired RF absorption properties is then produced. Using a three-dimensional (3D) printing process, melted plastic filament loaded with a RF absorber material is deposited in in computer controlled patterns according to the computer model, thereby producing the RF absorber having the set of desired RF absorption properties.

  • Publication number: 20230342609
Abstract: The present disclosure provides computing systems and associated methods for optimizing one or more adjustable parameters (e.g. operating parameters) of a system. In particular, the present disclosure provides a parameter optimization system that can perform one or more black-box optimization techniques to iteratively suggest new sets of parameter values for evaluation. The iterative suggestion and evaluation process can serve to optimize or otherwise improve the overall performance of the system, as evaluated by an objective function that evaluates one or more metrics. The present disclosure also provides a novel black-box optimization technique known as “Gradientless Descent” that is more clever and faster than random search yet retains most of random search's favorable qualities.

  • Patent number: 11455625
Abstract: A method of generating electronic monetary tokens (tokens) on a server that supports transmission of the tokens between third parties by means of a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also prevents double spending of the tokens. The tokens are represented by a substring of a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), which identifies a resource in a network. As a payment request the substring comprises an indicator of price. As a payment for a resource the substring comprises a set of tokens and a buyer's unique identifier. On receipt of the tokens and before releasing the resource to the buyer the seller requests an indication from the server that the buyer owns the tokens thus preventing double spending of the tokens. Preferably, the URI is a Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

  • Patent number: 11451907
Abstract: Concentric rings of speakers in a room are activated in sequence to emit test sounds that are picked up by microphones placed in the ears of a listener in the middle of the room. The output of the microphones is used to generate plural HRTF spheres that are concentric, and that can be convolved with each other to render a multi-distance HRTF filter that can be configured to “move” the perceived distance and bearing of audio objects “inside” the outer sphere as desired, without being restricted to placing the audio objects at the outer edges of a single sphere. Any desired placement of an audio object between spheres is done by interpolating between respective coefficients of the closest spheres.
