  • Publication number: 20220205163
Abstract: A device for installation on an inner circumferential surface-of a washing machine drum, comprising a housing, a voltage source and at least one electrode which is connected to the positive terminal of the voltage source and acts as an anode, it being possible for a washing liquor to flow through the device and said device comprising at least one inlet for introducing washing liquor into the device and at least one outlet for discharging washing liquor from the device. The inlet and the outlet are arranged on the device such that, when the device is in use position, said inlet and outlet are directly above the inner circumferential surface of the washing machine drum and the inlet is in a plane of which the surface normal extends. Use of this device and a related method are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20200063230
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a component containing an iron alloy material, a pulverulent pre-alloy is provided. The pre-alloy comprises, in wt. %, 0.01 to 1% C, 0.0.01 to 30% Mn, ?6% Al, and 0.05 to 6.0% Si, the remainder being Fe and usual contaminants. The pulverulent pre-alloy is mixed with at least one of elementary Ag powder, elementary Au powder, elementary Pd powder and elementary Pt powder so as to produce a powder mixture containing 0.1 to 20% of at least one of Ag, Au, Pd and Pt. The powder mixture is applied onto a carrier (16) by means of a powder application device (14). Electromagnetic or particle radiation is selectively irradiated onto the powder mixture applied onto the carrier (16) by means of an irradiation device (18) so as to generate a component from the powder mixture by an additive layer construction method.

  • Patent number: 10435649
Abstract: The cleaning performance of washing and cleaning agents, in particular with respect to bleachable stains, was to be intensified without resulting in damage, in the context of use, to the textile treated therewith. This was achieved substantially by employing a bleaching-active species generated electrolytically from an organic mediator compound using a redox reaction.

  • Patent number: 10160934
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to improve the cleaning power of washing and cleaning agents, especially with regard to bleachable stains, while avoiding any damage to the textile treated with said washing and cleaning agents. This is substantially achieved by using an electrolytically bleachable species generated by a redox reaction from an anionically substituted 1-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine, 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-N-oxide, or (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-yl)oxyl.

  • Patent number: 9970113
Abstract: A method for coating metallic surfaces with an aqueous composition, which contains an aqueous solution of a zinc salt, by flooding, spraying and/or immersion, wherein, for spraying or immersion, the initial temperature of the substrate lies in the range from 5 to 400° C., in that, for flooding, the initial temperature of the substrate lies in the range from 100 to 400° C. and in that an anticorrosive nanocrystalline zinc oxide layer is formed on the metallic surface. Corresponding aqueous composition, the nanocrystalline zinc oxide layer and the use of the coated substrates are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20170114305
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to improve the cleaning power of washing and cleaning agents, especially with regards to bleachable stains, while avoiding any damage to the textile treated with said washing and cleaning agents. This is achieved by an aqueous washing liquid in a device for cleaning textile substrates, containing a plurality of water in-soluble solid particles and a mediator compound, which can produce an oxidizing bleaching agent, in an electrochemical cell using electric voltage in the washing liquid.
