  • Patent number: 4768964
Abstract: The device comprises a rail (2) inside which two insulating support elements (10) are longitudinally disposed. Said support elements (10) are provided with projecting portions (10a) housing respective wires (11) provided with mutually facing contact surfaces (11a). The latter slightly project with respect to the projecting portions (10a) so that they can come into contact with contact elements (16) extending from a connection shank (13) and substantially flush therewith. The connection shank (13) is part of an adaptor (3) to which a safety low-tension-operated utilization unit can be connected and is engageable with rail (2) through a longitudinal opening (4a).

  • Patent number: 4637232
Abstract: The invention relates to machines for dry-cleaning clothes, and the like, and in particular, concerns an apparatus for the treatment of solvents by recycling carried out in the machine. The apparatus according to the invention comprises a predistillation unit (8), located between the main distillation chamber (2) and condenser (3) and consisting of a tank (9) in direct receipt of mingled water and solvent from the cleaning cycle, which it discharges into the chamber in controlled fashion, and a heat exchanger (10) located within the tank, in receipt of vapor from the chamber which it channels into the condenser. Connection between the tank and the condenser is direct, in order that vapor produced by pre-distillation may be exhausted straight into the condenser.

  • Patent number: 4279456
Abstract: A bipolar shunting device for multipolar electric lines formed by a box-type contact unit which may be fitted slidingly in substantially U-shaped sections, which support internally two opposite sets of electric insulated wires. A box-type connection unit is provided outside of the sections. In the contact unit three moveable contacts are provided, which are operated by a lever control placed outside of the connection unit. The device includes a two-position selecting unit able to connect itself alternately to either of two of the movable contacts while the third contact is constantly connected to the lever control.

  • Patent number: 4091643
Abstract: Recovery of solvent vapor in the course of the cleaning cycle in dry-cleaning machines and/or plants, which include a cleaning circuit, a drying circuit and a distillation circuit, in which low boiling-point solvents are utilized in particular, and simultaneous de-pressurization of such machines, inside of which, in the course of said dry-cleaning operation, a partial evaporation of the solvent occurs which results in the building-up of a given pressure, are accomplished by means of a filter, which whose inlet is directly connected with any point of the drying circuit, while its outlet is directly connected with the outside.

  • Patent number: 3977218
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a washing and drying plant for dry cleaning machines. The plant in question is formed by two concatenated circuits, one of which for the washing and the other for the drying of the treated garments and both terminate at a washing tank positioned at a level higher than that of the rest of the plant.Once the cycle has ended and the access door to the washing tank has been opened, it is possible in this way to prevent, without the intermediary of any isolating valve, the solvent gases built up during the operating cycles which, on account of their weight, remain inside the plant, from issuing therefrom.
