    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for purifying a crude diester monomer feedstock comprising: a) a step of mixing the crude diester monomer feedstock with an aqueous solvent, at a temperature of between 60° C. and 150° C., in order to obtain a diester monomer aqueous mixture, the amount of aqueous solvent introduced being adjusted so that the crude diester monomer feedstock represents between 20% and 90% of the total weight of the diester monomer aqueous mixture; b) a step of adsorbing the diester monomer aqueous mixture, at a temperature of between 60° C. and 150° C. and a pressure of between 0.1 and 1.0 MPa, in order to obtain a purified monomer effluent.
