  • Publication number: 20080173853
Abstract: A lifting means includes at least two telescopically displaceable lifting beams (1, 2), of which one (2) is connected to a driving means (3) in order to displace the second lifting beam (1) to and fro within said first lifting beam. A casing (4) can be placed to surround both the lifting beams and rest against these and surrounds both the lifting beams an essential part when they are protruded. A pressure spring (5) is placed within the casing (4) in order to displace the casing (4) so it surrounds both the lifting arms (1, 2) when they are in the protruded position in relation to each other whereby the pressure spring rests against the end of the casing (4), which end surrounds the displaceable lifting arm (1). A support (6) for the second end of the pressure spring (5) is attached on the fixed lifting beam (2).

  • Patent number: 7165908
Abstract: Two telescopic lifting beams are loaded in their protruded position and are driven from a retracted position to a protruded position. In order to improve the bending strength of the lifting beams, the lifting beams are surrounded by two telescopic tubes, one of the tubes being fixed to the outer end of the telescopic first lifting beam and is slideable on the second telescopic tube, which extends inwardly on the second lifting beam.

  • Patent number: 6892403
Abstract: Hoisting harness for persons, where the lifting action takes place by a harness consisting of a seat-piece placed between the person's legs, to which seat-piece a rear-piece is connected, which runs against the person's back and further consists of a front piece which runs against the chest. The front-piece and the rear-piece in their free ends have loops to be applied to a lift hanger. In order to avoid that the harness shall not be too tight across the chest during the lifting action and that the harness is adaptable to the size of the person's body, the front-piece and the rear-piece are connected by two connecting bands each band passing one side of the body, whereby the length of the connecting bands between the front-piece and the rear-piece is adjustable.

  • Patent number: 6581222
Abstract: A harness for lifting a disabled person from a sitting position to a standing position by a lifting device having two attaching points for the lifting action, there being a distance between these points. The harness including a belt at least partly surrounding the body of the person to be lifted, which belt has four bands, which can be hooked on the attaching points so that the belt surrounds the person overlapping on the breast under breast height and two of the bands crossing each other. In order to increase the lateral stability when lifting the person two other of the four bands are attached to a back piece forming a part of the harness, which back piece is extended at the rear of the back of the person and outside the shoulders.

  • Patent number: 6568002
Abstract: Aid apparatus for raising a disabled person from a sitting position to a standing position, which apparatus includes a wheeled base in the form of a U-formed frame having a post, which supports a lifting device. The lifting device includes a lifting arm arrangement having a free end, which can be raised and lowered in relation to the base and supports the lifting sling. The aid apparatus may turn over if the person leans at one side in a standing position and a fork-shaped lateral support is therefore arranged, the open end of which opens in the direction from the post and surrounds the upper part of the body when the person is in the standing position. The breadth of the fork-shaped lateral support corresponds to the person's breadth and is not larger than the breadth of the U-formed base. The fork-shaped lateral support being arranged not swingable in relation to an axis, which is perpendicular to the plane of the U-formed base.

  • Patent number: 6449785
Abstract: Aid apparatus for raising a disable person from a sitting position to a standing position including a wheeled base (1) in the form of a U-shaped frame with a post (3), which supports a lifting arm arrangement (5, 7), to which can be attached a lifting sling (9), which surrounds at least partly the body of the person. The object is now to avoid that the person will be lifted in his armpits and also to make the lifting motion stable. The lifting arm arrangement (5, 7) therefore includes two arms (7), the free ends of which have a hook (8), in which a belt (9) having four bands (10, 11, 16, 17) can be hooked on in such a way that the belt surrounds the person overlapped just under breast-high.

  • Patent number: 6223365
Abstract: Straps are used to form a supporting plane for a body resting on a supporting structure, which straps are double folded and inserted under the body while holding one end of the strap until the other end of the strap is completely inserted under the body. Two bars are placed parallel and with a certain distance from the body on each side of the body. The free part of each strap is attached, double folded, to one of the bars. The attachment point of the strap is rotated around the geometric axis of the bar in such a way that the part of the strap, which runs from the body, will be placed over the double folded end. The end of the strap, which has been inserted under the body is fixed on the other bar or is attached in the same way as the first end.

  • Patent number: 5836462
Abstract: Adjusting device for a hoisting crane including a work spindle, which is given an axial travel within a cylinder by a relative movement between a screw and a cooperating groove following a driving device. The work spindle has a free end, which is connected to a lifting arm of the hoisting crane through a connector or the like. In order to make it possible to move the work spindle axially without help of the driving device in the case of an emergency, the connector includes a connection which is stiff in the axial direction of the work spindle, and which includes two parts which are rotatable in relation to each other against a certain friction resistance around an axis, which is concentric to the work spindle.

  • Patent number: 5794880
Abstract: A driven barrel of a winch device includes a closed cylindrical space (16) which is concentric with the barrel and accommodates a piston (17) which can move on an axis (12) from one end of the cylindrical space to the other and is in non-rotatable connection (19, 20) with the inside of the barrel. The axis (12) has screw threads (15) and the piston (17) has a center bore with screw threads meshing with the screw threads of the axis. The cylindrical space encloses a fluid and the piston (17) is given a leak from one side of the piston to the other. In order to stop the loaded rope unwinding from the barrel if the rotation speed of the barrel should increase over a certain value the leak is in the form of a canal (21) which accommodates a valve means including a valve housing and a valve body (22). The valve means stops the fluid flow over the valve body in one direction at a certain pressure drop over the valve body.

  • Patent number: 5147051
Abstract: A hoisting device for individuals includes a hoisting band which can be elevated and lowered in the vertical direction. The hoisting device comprises an elongated bracket on which a driving device is attached. The driving device is arranged to displace a pivot backwards and forwards. A band runs from an attachment to the bracket around a movable guide roller and around a pulley wheel down into a loop on which the individual is attached. While being displaced, the pivot moves the guide roller, thus extending the band in the longitudinal direction of the bracket and thereby retracting the loop. The driving device is a linearly operating electric motor. In order to improve the hoisting possibilities, a trolley is arranged to be able to freely run along the continuous bracket whereby the band, which runs from the trolley on a first guide pulley and downwards in order to form a loop under the continuous bracket and up on a second guided pulley, moves with the trolley.

  • Patent number: 4770587
Abstract: A locking pin formed from an elastic material having in its longitudinal direction a symmetrical cross-sectional configuration having two opposite outlines (3,5), one of which (3) is formed by two straight lines extending from the ends of the pin and meeting between the ends to form an obtuse angle and a peak height (12) measured from an opposite straight line (13), which connects two end points of the second outline of the locking pin, the peak height (12) being larger than the diameter of the bore (14), into which the locking pin is to be inserted. The thickness of the pin at any point is less than the diameter of the bore, whereby the end points are positioned on a shoulder (6,7), which is formed at each end of the pin.

  • Patent number: 4563118
Abstract: An expanding means for removable fastening in a cylindrical hole, consisting of an elastic cylinder, which is caused by axial contraction to radially expand and with the outer surface to engage with the cylindrical hole, which cylinder is formed with a plurality of bars, which extend substantially in the axial direction of the cylinder from grooves running in the direction of the bars in the outer surface of the cylinder and radially outwardly outside the outer surface to frictionally grip the inside of the cylindrical hole so that the elastic cylinder is prevented from rotating during contraction.
