  • Publication number: 20100204799
Abstract: An endoprosthesis for replacement of a joint includes two slide surfaces having different contours and correspondingly determining movement planes for a bearing formed by an intermediate part. The endoprosthesis includes a clamping bracket to enclose the slide surfaces of the intermediate part that is arranged thereon such that it is free from the movement planes defined by the slide surfaces having different contours. It is thus possible to strengthen endoprostheses which have complex biomechanics having a plurality of degrees of freedom.

  • Patent number: 7717917
Abstract: An ancillary device for positioning a bone graft between bones separated by an articular slot, to ensure arthrodesis of a joint, wherein the bone graft is placed in a recess provided at the end of one or more bones defining the articular slot, and comprising means for driving the bone graft, provided with support means on the bone graft suitable for moving the latter in the recess, and actuation means, functionally connected to the driving means, and capable of being handled in order to control the movement of the bone graft.

  • Publication number: 20080312745
Abstract: The invention relates to an endoprosthesis for replacement of a joint, in which slide surfaces that have different contours and correspondingly define movement planes for bearing are formed by an intermediate part. According to the invention, the intermediate part has a projection, preferably a convex projection, on at least one side face, in order to avoid fibrosis.

  • Publication number: 20070173944
Abstract: The invention relates to an endoprosthesis for replacement of a joint, 2 slide surfaces having different contours and correspondingly determining movement planes for in each case 1 bearing being formed by an intermediate part 2. Provision is made according to the invention for a clamping bracket to enclose the slide surfaces of the intermediate part and to be arranged thereon such that it is arranged free from the movement planes defined by the slide surfaces having different contours. It is thus also possible to strengthen endopreostheses which have complex biomechanics having a plurality of degrees of freedom.

  • Publication number: 20060058802
Abstract: A fixation implant for a bone graft within a joint for the purpose of ensuring arthrodesis of the joint, and a surgical method for emplacement of the described fixation implant. The fixation implant for a bone graft is arranged between the bones located on both sides of an articular space, for the purpose of ensuring arthrodesis of a joint. The fixation implant (7) includes: at least two elements for anchoring (8) into the bones, connected to each other by at least one connection element (10) extending to the outside of the joint; and an immobilization means (11) for the bone graft, arranged between the anchoring elements (8) and connected to the connection element (10) in such a way as to ensure, in cooperation with the anchoring elements (8), blocking of the bone graft with respect to the bones of the joint and vice-versa.

  • Patent number: 6852130
Abstract: An endoprosthesis for replacement of the ankle joint includes a component which is to be connected to the anklebone and which forms an upper slide surface a component which is to be connected to the tibia and which forms a lower slide surface, and a middle part. The middle part forms two slide surfaces which interact with slide surfaces on the tibial component and the anklebone component. In frontal section, the middle part is wedge-shaped with a wedge angle of between 1° and 12°.
