  • Publication number: 20180228845
Abstract: The present invention provides a composition for treating ischemic diseases or neuroinflammatory disorders, comprising a secretome of neural precursor cells (NPCs) as an active ingredient. The secretome of NPCs, of the present invention, reduces an ischemic injury site and enables neurological functions to recover by means of roles such as anti-inflammation, neovascularization regeneration, and activation and proliferation of inherent stem cells, thereby being usable as a therapeutic agent for ischemic diseases and degenerative nervous system disorders such as nerve damage diseases caused by inflammation. Particularly, the secretome of NPCs, of the present invention, has an excellent behavior improvement effect when administered multiple times.

  • Publication number: 20180177829
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating spinal cord injury, the composition containing poly-sialylated neural cell adhesion molecule (PSA-NCAM) positive neural cells as an active ingredient. The PSA-NCAM positive neural cells (e.g., PSA-NCAM positive neural precursor cells) of the present invention, when transplanted into spinal cord injury animal models, are differentiated into astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, or neurons (NeuN positive cells), which are three types of important cells constituting neural tissues, and exhibiting a behavior improvement effect due to the recovery of neural functions and the restoration of the injured spinal cord tissues. Thus, the cells can be used for a composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating spinal cord injury.

  • Patent number: 9752290
Abstract: A rainwater receiver of a movable boarding bridge may comprise rainwater receivers provided at: an outer tunnel; an inner tunnel disposed inside the outer tunnel; an inner tunnel footpath equipped in the inner tunnel and configured in the form of a footpath so that passengers can walk thereon; an outer tunnel footpath disposed at the lower end of the inner tunnel footpath and configured in a multilayer form; and the lower end of the outer tunnel footpath. A tunnel path part of the movable boarding bridge configured as above is positioned to be separated from the rainwater receivers so that the rainwater receivers are not seen by passengers inside a tunnel. In addition, since there is no height difference caused by the rainwater receivers, there is an advantage in that problems such as passengers' sprained ankles can be resolved.

  • Publication number: 20170136068
Abstract: The present invention provides a composition for treating ischemic diseases or neuroinflammatory diseases. PSA-NCAM-positive neural progenitor cells used in the present invention promote angiogenesis in injected tissue and inhibit an inflammatory response. The PSA-NCAM-positive neural progenitor cells can be simply isolated by using an anti-PSA-NCAM-antibody, and exhibit excellent angiogenic and anti-inflammatory activities compared with mesenchymal stem cells, and thus can be useful as a composition for effectively treating ischemic diseases caused by a vascular injury and nerve damage diseases caused by inflammation. In addition, a secretome of the neural progenitor cells of the present invention reduces the ischemic injury site and allows a neurological function to recover, and thus can be used as an agent for treating ischemic diseases and degenerative nervous system disorders such as nerve damage diseases caused by inflammation.

  • Publication number: 20170073627
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for selective cell attachment/detachment, cell patternization and cell harvesting by means of near infrared rays. More particularly, conducting polymers or metal oxides having exothermic characteristics upon irradiation of near infrared light is used as a cell culture scaffold, thus selectively attaching/detaching cells without an enzyme treatment. The scaffold has an effect of promoting proliferation or differentiation of stem cells, and therefore, can be used as a stem cell culture scaffold. The scaffold enables cell attachment/detachment without temporal or spatial restrictions, thus enabling cell patternization.
