  • Patent number: 10965816
Abstract: In a method for testing an audio communication system of an aircraft, it is detected whether a jack plug of a headset is plugged into a jack of the audio communication system. Subject to the condition that no jack plug is detected, an electrical connection is made between an audio output of the jack and a microphone input of the jack by means of a test bridge circuit provided for at the jack. Furthermore, a test input signal is applied to an audio input connected to the audio output of the jack, and a test output signal is tapped off at a microphone output connected to the microphone input of the jack. The test output signal is used to ascertain a functional state of the audio communication system. Furthermore, an aircraft having an audio communication system is described.

  • Patent number: 9862338
Abstract: A system for contactless energy transmission includes a transformer formed by a primary winding and a secondary winding, which transformer is designed so as to be resonant as a result of capacitors. By measuring and comparing electrical state variables on the primary side and on the secondary side the efficiency of the transmission of electrical power from the primary side to the secondary side is determined, and by varying the resonance frequency of the transformer or of the frequency of a primary voltage applied to the primary winding the resonance frequency and the primary voltage frequency are attuned to each other.

  • Patent number: 9682668
Abstract: A system for determining a cabin layout in a cabin of a vehicle, includes a system for contactless transfer of power with primary magnetic elements and secondary magnetic elements that each overlap with at least one primary magnetic element. Based on sequentially providing power to primary magnetic elements and measuring at least one electric value in the powered primary magnetic element overlapping states of secondary magnetic elements and primary magnetic elements can be determined. By determining overlapping states for all primary magnetic elements in the cabin the number and positions of all secondary magnetic elements and all vehicle components attached thereto can be collected. The system avoids powering two contiguous primary magnetic elements to prevent a wrong determination of an overlapping state.

  • Patent number: 9319108
Abstract: A system for the contactless transfer of energy and data includes a transfer path with a primary coil and with a secondary coil. The primary control unit is designed to lead data-modulated first alternating-voltage signals of a first frequency range into the primary coil. The secondary control unit is designed to receive the first alternating-voltage signals of the first frequency range from the secondary coil, and to demodulate the modulated-on data. The system further includes a feed-in line for feeding a second alternating-voltage signal of a second frequency range to a primary line leading to a primary coil and an activation line that is connected to a secondary line that is connected to the secondary coil. A first filter filters the second alternating-voltage signal from the secondary line and provides the signal to an activation connection.
