  • Patent number: 10165938
Abstract: A medical image routing system that allows for a user to override the current routing of medical image data such that a user need only activate an interface to automatically interrupt the the first medical image data routing to a display(s) with the second medical image data automatically routed to the display(s). Upon activation of the interface a second time, the first medical image data routing is automatically reestablished and the second medical image data is automatically interrupted.

  • Patent number: 9757507
Abstract: An operating room control system that is soft configurable allowing a user to completely configure the control and function of the system. The system includes a touchscreen that provides a video display received from a video endoscope and presents icons on the touchscreen allowing the user to control and interface with the tools/equipment in the operating room as well as hospital systems. The controls, displays, tools, equipment, etc. are configured to be operated from a single centralized platform.

  • Patent number: 8848987
Abstract: An image that includes editing comments is generated on a medical display unit which is arranged in a sterile working area of a medical facility. An input device for generating input data representing the editing comments is also arranged in the sterile working area. First, the display unit displays a primary image, such as an endoscopic photograph from inside of a patient's body. A physician can generate the input data using the input device. Both the primary image and the input data are transmitted to an image processing unit arranged outside the sterile area. The image processing unit combines the input data and the primary image to form a secondary image including the editing comments. The secondary image is subsequently retransmitted to the display unit.

  • Patent number: 6397286
Abstract: What is described here is a system for centrally monitoring and/or controlling at least one unit for endoscopy and particularly for minimally invasive surgery, such as an insufflation means, a pump, a light source and/or a video camera, wherein the unit or units to be controlled are interconnected via interfaces. The inventive system is characterised by the combination of the following features: the units are connected via the interfaces on a self-configuring bus to a BUS master, the BUS master configures the bus automatically, the BUS master monitors the communication on the bus for correct execution.
