  • Patent number: 8453492
Abstract: When a pressure of a breath is kept to fall within a valid range, a CPU of a breath alcohol measuring apparatus updates a breath amount accumulation value that is an accumulation value of the amount of the breath blown into a mouth piece; when the breath pressure reaches the range outside the valid range, the CPU resets the breath amount accumulation value; and when the breath amount accumulation value reaches a valid breath amount, the CPU measures the alcohol concentration by an alcohol sensor. A breath pressure display portion is arranged at the position that can visually be recognized by a to-be-measured person who is blowing into the mouth piece.

  • Publication number: 20110277537
Abstract: A to-be-called side device includes an alcohol drinking state check means for performing an alcohol drinking state check of a user, a peripheral state obtaining means for obtaining peripheral states by sound and image to keep an illegal communication as to the check performed between a person who monitors the check and the user as evidence, a temporary record continuation means for continuing the temporary record of the peripheral states obtained by the peripheral state obtaining means, and a pre-check/post-check record means for recording the peripheral state for 10 minutes before the check and the peripheral state for 10 minutes after the check in the respective checks, wherein the pre-check/post-check record means obtains the record of the peripheral state at least before the check from the record by the temporarily record continuation means in the record of the peripheral states for 20 minutes before and after the check.

  • Patent number: 5113183
Abstract: In a nameplate apparatus incorporating a communication unit therein, the communication unit is formed in a thin film shape and transmits a coded code specific to the nameplate apparatus. On a front surface of this thin-film shaped communication unit, a display plate is mounted so as to display information such as a name, whereas on a rear surface of the communication unit, a holding member is provided so as to detachably secure the communication unit to a user's clothing or the like. In a data processing apparatus, after the coded code transmitted from the communication unit is determined to be coincident with a predetermined identification code, the data processing apparatus is brought into an operable condition.

  • Patent number: 4502119
Abstract: An electronic register of the invention has, at an input unit, at least a first selection key which is operated for performing the normal registering, a second selection key which is operated for performing single item registering for accumulating sales data according to both classification and payment type, and keys for designating the item number codes. A memory has a first memory for storing sales data input by the operation of the keys in memory locations according to the item number codes, and a second memory for storing the sales data according to the payment types. When the first selection key is operated, the normal registering is performed. When the second selection key is operated, the sales data is stored in the first memory and is printed on a receipt sheet in the single item registering mode and the receipt is issued. The sales data is also classified according to the payment types and stored in the second memory.

  • Patent number: 4424566
Abstract: A voice data output apparatus judges whether amount of money data inputted is repeat registration data or not and, when it is repeat registration data, does not output a voice of the amount data. A CPU is connected to an input circuit, a print circuit, a display circuit, a RAM and the voice output circuit, through chip designating signal lines, an R/W signal line, an address bus line and a data bus line. The CPU delivers chip designating signals to the respective circuits to select the circuit to be used. The display circuit and the voice output circuit are selected by the same chip designating signal. When the repeat registration data is inputted with the input circuit, given code is stored in a digit representing the repeat registration in a register X of the CPU. When the data in the register X is transferred to the voice output circuit, the output circuit judges the code and does not produce the voice of the amount data.

  • Patent number: 4389707
Abstract: An electronic cash register has first and second total memories for storing data of accumulated sales amounts, and which is capable of two different types of settlement operations. It checks whether the first total memory has been reset before commencing the operation of resetting the second total memory, and resets the second total memory if the first total memory has been reset. A flag memory is provided for storing flag data such that when no flag data is stored in the flag memory upon actuation of the second settlement designation key, the total sales data in the first total memory is cumulatively stored in the corresponding memory areas of the second total memory and thereafter the data in the second total memory is supplied to the printing means.
