  • Patent number: 10126286
Abstract: A lance and a method determine reaction data of the course of a reaction, in which a reaction gas is top-blown by at least one lance onto a metallic melt in a metallurgical vessel and measured data are determined in this way, reaction data for the course of the reaction are determined as a function of these, where the lance for determining measured data blows out a gas which is conveyed separately from the reaction gas through at least one outlet opening of at least one measuring conduit. The lance for determining measured data blows out the gas which is conveyed separately from the reaction gas laterally through at least one outlet opening of at least one measuring conduit and the internal pressure of at least one gas bubble of this gas formed at this outlet opening of the respective measuring conduit is measured.

  • Patent number: 8203317
Abstract: A method for controlling an output voltage of generator arrangement includes generating a controlled field current for a field winding dependent on the output voltage and dependent on at least one control parameter that depends on a rotational speed of the generator. The method also includes decreasing a rate of change of the controlled field current with respect to an output voltage change if the rotational speed decrease.

  • Patent number: 7840365
Abstract: An integrated circuit arrangement for current regulation of an electromagnetic load, especially an electric motor, generator, solenoid valve, or the like, with a coil, a power switch element, and a freewheeling diode is disclosed. In one embodiment, the circuit arrangement has an integrated measurement resistor for measuring the coil current. The measurement resistor is arranged in a freewheeling path of the circuit arrangement in series between the freewheeling diode and the power switch element, and has a digital processing means connected after a voltage measurement device assigned to the measurement resistor for at least partial compensation of resistor manufacturing variations and/or temperature fluctuations in the voltage signal and/or an error due to analog voltage signal processing.

  • Patent number: 7609075
Abstract: For measuring a voltage difference between two measurement potentials at the input of a voltage converter that can be controlled via a control input, the measurement potentials are shifted by a voltage potential defined by a first pair of impression currents to obtain a first pair of shifted measurement potentials at the output of the voltage converter. Subsequently, the measurement potentials are shifted by a voltage potential defined by a second pair of impression currents different to the first pair to obtain a second pair of shifted measurement potentials. A controller determines measurement phases, in which the first or second pair of measurement potentials, respectively, is determined. An evaluator determines the voltage difference based on the first voltage difference between the first pair of shifted measurement potentials and based on the second voltage difference between the second pair of shifted measurement potentials and outputs the same at the output.

  • Patent number: 6873201
Abstract: A circuit arrangement is provided for actuating a semiconductor switch connected in series with an inductive load. The circuit includes a first input terminal for supplying an input signal which governs whether the semiconductor switch is on or off, a second input terminal for supplying a voltage measurement signal, and an output terminal for providing an actuation signal for the semiconductor switch. Connected between the first input terminal and the output terminal is a driver circuit which, for a given level of the input signal, takes a control signal as a basis for generating an actuation signal having a first or a second signal profile.

  • Publication number: 20030039320
Abstract: The device and the method enable determining a respectively current level of a digital signal. The digital signal is compared with a threshold value that is located between the state representing the low level of the digital signal and the state representing the high level of the digital signal. The threshold value that is used is matched to the prevailing conditions, that is, the threshold value is defined taking account of the waveform of the digital signal.
