  • Patent number: 11491317
Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting medical lines (3, 4) to each other comprises a first connector (1) having an insertion shaft (12), and a second connector (2) having an insertion opening (22). For connecting the first connector (1) and the second connector (2) to each other, the insertion shaft (12) of the first connector (1) is insertable along an insertion direction (I) into the insertion opening (22) of the second connector (2). For releasing the first connector (1) and the second connector (2) from each other, the insertion shaft (12) of the first connector (1) is removable from the insertion opening (22) of the second connector (2).

  • Publication number: 20170151385
Abstract: A drip chamber (1) for administering a medical fluid, comprises a chamber element (30) forming a chamber (300), an inlet (20) for letting a medical fluid into the chamber (300), and a connector (31) connected to the chamber element (30) at an outlet of the drip chamber (1). A tube (4) is connectable to the connector (31) for letting the medical fluid out of the chamber (300). Herein, the connector (31) is formed in one piece on the chamber element (30) by using injection molding, wherein the chamber element (30) is formed from a first material and the connector (31) is formed from a second material which is different from the first material. In this way a drip chamber is provided which allows for an easy, cost-efficient production and at the same time is easily squeezable and may provide a reliable, durable connection to a tube.

  • Patent number: 7220242
Abstract: A withdrawal device for the secure withdrawal of a puncture needle from a catheter, in particular from a catheter with a flexible catheter tube following the puncture. The device including a connection section for connecting the withdrawal device with the catheter in a starting position of use and a return-motion lever linearly movable in the guide element, whereby linear toothing is affixed to one of the elements, guide element and return-motion lever, which meshes with the peripheral toothing of a pivoted gearwheel on the other element (return-motion lever, guide element), and whereby the puncture needle is attached with the end protruding from the catheter such that upon rotation of the gearwheel, the puncture needle is wound up on a takeup part fixedly attached thereto.
