  • Publication number: 20230240958
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cosmetic composition containing a functionalized heteroaromatic compound and retinoic acid precursor. An effective way to stabilize the color stability of compositions comprising a functionalized heteroaromatic compound and a retinoic acid precursor is desired. It has been determined that a functionalized heteroaromatic compound and a retinoic acid precursor in combination with a compatible oil provide for improved color stability of the retinoic acid precursor. The invention thus relates to a composition comprising a synergistic combination of a compatible oil with a functionalized heteroaromatic compound and a retinoic acid precursor.

  • Publication number: 20230129607
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cosmetic composition precursor that is rapidly hydratable and conducive to creating a personalized end-product. This invention thus relates to a cosmetic composition precursor having fatty acid, inorganic base, and high HLB surfactants and methods of using said precursors in creating the end-product. The invention also relates to end-use compositions made from the hydratable cosmetic composition precursor of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20220323324
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a personal care composition containing resorcinols. An effective way to improve the color stability of compositions comprising resorcinols is desired. It has been found that alkylresorcinols and retinoids in combination with a compatible oil and specific ratios of antioxidants provide for improved color stability of the resorcinols. The invention thus relates to a composition comprising a synergistic combination of butylated hydroxytoluene and dilauryl thiodipropionate with alkylresorcinols and retinoids.
