Publication number: 20170028892Abstract: A vehicle seat frame includes a pair of side frames constituting side portions of a seat cushion frame, and a pipe member rotatably fitted at respective end portions in sliding holes of the side frames, thereby coupling the side frames to each other. At least one of the end portions of the pipe member is coupled to the corresponding side frame via a collar member having a cylindrical shape. An outer peripheral portion of the collar member has a sliding contact portion in sliding contact with a peripheral surface of the sliding hole. An inner peripheral portion of the collar member has an insertion-receiving portion into which the corresponding end portion of the pipe member is inserted and to which the corresponding end portion of the pipe member is secured. The dimensional tolerance of the sliding contact portion is set smaller than the dimensional tolerance of the insertion-receiving portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 14, 2016Publication date: February 2, 2017Applicants: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHA, AISIN SEIKI KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventor: Hayato MATSUI

Publication number: 20170028890Abstract: A vehicle seat frame includes a pair of side frames, a pair of cylindrical collar members, a pair of link members, and a pipe member coaxially secured at end portions to the collar members. At least one of the collar members is substantially equal in outer diameter to the pipe member. A contact surface portion having a reduced outer diameter is formed in an end portion of a first member, which is brought into contact with a second member. The first member is one of the pipe member and the collar member that is substantially equal in outer diameter to the pipe member, and the second member is the other one of them. The first member and the second member are secured to each other by welding, with the contact surface portion kept in contact with an inner peripheral portion of the second member.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2016Publication date: February 2, 2017Applicants: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHA, AISIN SEIKI KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventor: Hayato MATSUI

Patent number: 9545864Abstract: A conveyance seat includes a seat frame, and a rod that extends to a region on a seat inside, and that is connected to the seat frame. The rod is connected to the seat frame via a shaft member. The shaft member includes a tubular portion having a through-hole, and a protruding portion protruding toward an outside in a radial direction from one end of the tubular portion in an axial direction. The shaft member is assembled to the seat frame in a state in which the tubular portion is inserted through the seat frame from a seat outside, and an insertion position of the shaft member in the axial direction is restricted by a position where the protruding portion abuts against an outside surface of the seat frame. The rod is inserted in the axial direction through the through-hole in the shaft member, and assembled to the shaft member.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2014Date of Patent: January 17, 2017Assignees: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHA, SHIROKI CORPORATIONInventors: Yuki Hattori, Hayato Matsui

Patent number: 9371015Abstract: A reclining device includes an operating shaft that is inserted through the reclining device in its axial direction to be mounted, and is adapted to release the reclining device from a locked position, and a torsion spring mounted between an outer end portion of the operating shaft which protrudes from the reclining device outward in a width direction of the seat, and a frame portion that is located outside the reclining device in the seat width direction. The operating shaft is constantly biased by the torsion spring in a rotational direction for locking the reclining device. The torsion spring is mounted onto the outer end portion of the operating shaft in the axial direction from an outer side of the seat, and has an inner end portion which is engaged with the operating shaft, and an outer end portion which is engaged with the frame portion.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2012Date of Patent: June 21, 2016Assignees: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHA, AISIN SEIKI KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Hayato Matsui, Mikihito Nagura, Shinya Isobe

Publication number: 20150336477Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a seat frame, a bushing having a shape of a hollow cylinder and a pipe. The pipe is fitted to the bushing and attached to the seat frame. The pipe includes a body portion having a fitting diameter different from a fitting diameter of the bushing and a fitting portion formed at an end in an axial direction of the body portion and fitted to an inner periphery or an outer periphery of the bushing. The fitting portion is formed in a diameter-reduced or diameter-increased hollow cylindrical shape that is fitted to the inner periphery or the outer periphery of the bushing.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2015Publication date: November 26, 2015Applicants: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHA, SHIROKI CORPORATIONInventor: Hayato MATSUI

Publication number: 20150306998Abstract: The present invention relates to a spring member mounting structure, which is a structure for mounting a spring member on a cushion frame connecting side frames by use of a rear pipe. The spring member has rear clipping portions engaged with the rear pipe. Cover members, which are provided at seat central sides of connecting portions of the side frames and the rear pipe, have extension portions extending toward the seat central sides. The rear clipping portions abut on ends of the seat central sides of the extension portions, and are mounted to the rear pipe by width direction positioning of the spring member.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2015Publication date: October 29, 2015Applicant: TOYOTA BOSHOKU KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventor: Hayato MATSUI
