Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and an apparatus, to ensure a multicast service data packet transmission security requirement. An access device may determine a user plane security active state of a multicast DRB in a PDU session, and indicate the user plane security active state of the multicast DRB to a terminal, where the user plane security active state includes whether integrity protection is activated and/or whether confidentiality protection is activated. In addition, the access device configures a multicast PDCP layer entity based on the user plane security active state of the DRB for transmitting multicast service data. The access device may further determine a user plane security active state of a unicast DRB, indicate the user plane security active state to the terminal, and modify a unicast PDCP layer entity.

Abstract: A method for determining a user plane security algorithm, a system, and an apparatus. The method may include: a second device selects a non-null user plane confidentiality protection algorithm based on a security capability of a first device and a security capability of the second device in a case in which user plane confidentiality protection between the second device and the first device is enabled and control plane confidentiality protection between the second device and the first device is not enabled. The second device sends a first message to the first device. The first message includes first algorithm indication information indicating the user plane confidentiality protection algorithm. Therefore, the first device can obtain the non-null user plane confidentiality protection algorithm. Embodiments can be adopted to determine an effective user plane confidentiality protection algorithm, for confidentiality protecting user plane data.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods and articles of manufacture for use with cell therapy for the treatment of diseases or conditions, e.g., cancer, including for predicting and treating a toxicity. In some embodiments, the toxicity is related to cytokine release syndrome (CRS). The methods generally involve assessing a change in a factor indicative of tumor burden in a subject that is associated with and/or correlate to a risk of developing toxicity. In some aspects, the methods can be used to determine if the subject is at risk or likely at risk for developing a toxicity following administration of the cell therapy. Also provided are methods for treating a subject having a disease or condition, in some cases involving administration of the cell therapy, based on assessment of risk of developing a toxicity following administration of the therapy. Also provided herein are reagents and kits for performing the methods.

Abstract: Provided are adoptive cell therapy methods involving the administration of doses of cells for treating disease and conditions, including certain B cell malignancies. The cells generally express recombinant receptors such as chimeric antigen receptors (CARs). In some embodiments, the methods are for treating subjects with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). In some embodiments, the methods are for treating subjects with relapsed or refractory NHL. Also provided are articles of manufacture and prophylactic treatments in connection with adoptive therapy methods.

A server computer system may cause, via a conferencing service, display of a user interface for an event having a group of users accessing the conferencing service via a plurality of user devices, the displayed interface including an indication of a video feed of a user in the group of users that is currently active. The system may store, in a database, data for the event, including content of audio and video feeds of users in the event. The system may analyze a set of characteristics included in the content of the audio and video feeds. The system may alter, while the indication of the video feed of the user is being displayed, aspects of the displayed user interface other than the indication, where the altering is performed based on the analyzing.

Abstract: A cover for an infrared detector and a method of fabricating the cover are disclosed. The cover comprises a wafer comprising a material such as silicon that transmits infrared radiation. The wafer has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. An antireflective region is formed in the wafer to enhance transmission of infrared radiation through the cover. The antireflective region comprises a first plurality of antireflective elements such as moth-eyes formed in the first surface. The first plurality of antireflective elements are sized and shaped and arranged relative to one another to form a region of graded refractive index at the first surface so as to reduce the amount of infrared radiation reflected by the cover at the antireflective region. The cover comprises a wall extending from the first surface and surrounding the antireflective region.

Abstract: This application relates to batteries with an asymmetric design. At least some batteries described herein include two sections having different shapes and/or sizes, thus having different volumes. Having a battery formed with a relatively larger sections allows for several advantages. For example, the larger section can accommodate bending of a tab used to connect several electrodes together. Additionally, with the larger section providing space for the bent tab, the electrodes can be extended in, for example, the relatively smaller section. As a result, the battery can provide additional energy storage.
