  • Patent number: 6874934
Abstract: A modular X-ray diagnostic appliance has as a first module, a base support, as second module, at least one support for the base support, as a third module, at least one component of an X-ray imaging device, as a fourth module, a support device for an object to be examined, and, as a fifth module, a longitudinal carriage which is arranged above the base support and on which the component is mounted. The base support has support-device coupling elements for coupling the support device thereto, support-coupling elements for coupling the support thereto and component-coupling elements for coupling the component thereto. The component-coupling elements have a fixed and/or floating bearing arranged on the base support and connected to the longitudinal carriage. In a method for producing different series of X-ray diagnostic appliances, in which a structurally identical modular base support and a structurally identical modular support device are used for all series.

  • Publication number: 20040091082
Abstract: A modular x-ray diagnostic appliance is described, having, as first module, a base support (1), as second module, at least one support for the base support (1), as third module, at least one component of an x-ray imaging device, as fourth module, a bearing device (33) for an object to be examined, and, as fifth module, a longitudinal carriage (20) which is arranged above the base support (1) and on which the component is mounted. On the base support, bearing-device coupling elements (31, 32) for coupling the bearing device (33) thereto, support-coupling elements (6) for coupling the support thereto and component-coupling elements for coupling the component thereto are formed, the component-coupling elements comprising a fixed and/or floating bearing (22, 23) arranged on the base support (1) and connected to the longitudinal carriage (20).

  • Patent number: 5349625
Abstract: An x-ray diagnostics installation for peripheral angiography examinations includes a control unit having an arithmetic unit that, on the basis of subject-related data supplied thereto, effects a pre-setting of the electrical parameters of the installation required for every exposure, plus the step length and the number of steps of the relative adjustment of the exposure unit and the patient support relative to one another, as well as the required diaphragm setting. By virtue of the pre-setting, stress on the patient is reduced, and since the overall time per examination is also reduced, patient throughput can be increased.
