Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a core (1) for a projectile (2). So that the dividing behavior of the projectile can be set in a simple manner, wherein the core is lead-free, it is proposed that one or more wires or wire sections composed of a lead-free material are compressed to form a cavity-free core (1), wherein the wires or wire sections have one or more geometrical shapes (3) in the interior or on the outside diameter and/or predetermined braking points (4) obtained during the compression are provided in the core (1).

Abstract: The invention relates to a gas generator, especially for an air bag, having two tubes (9, 10) arranged concentrically one in the other, the inner tube (10) forming the combustion chamber, containing the fuel (3), and being closed by a cover plate (11) and an end plate (12). The gas generator is especially suitable for the use of laughing gas and has a cover plate (11) joined to an end plate (12) by an igniter tube (7) passing through the combustion chamber. An ignition element is disposed in the cover plate, whose discharge opening for the ignition gases is in communication with the igniter tube (7). A longitudinally displaceable piston (2) is disposed in the igniter tube (7), and radial openings (6) into the combustion chamber are disposed in the igniter tube (7). In this process, the extractant used is an amine salt comprising an aliphatic amine having a total carbon number of 10 to 75 and a strong acid. Abstract: A partially combustible propellant charge igniter has a bottom piece with primer charge and an ignition gas guide tube adjoining this primer charge, with a combustible tube containing the booster charge, the internal diameter of this latter tube being larger than that of the ignition gas guide tube, and a cavity containing a separating charge between the ignition gas guide tube and the combustible tube. A communicating opening is provided between the propagation charge and the separating charge. The communicating opening comprises at least one bore in a valve bonnet, valve means being provided which, in case of excess pressure in the cavity with respect to the booster charge close the bores at least partially, so that ignition of the separating charge takes place essentially through the bore.
