  • Patent number: 5969942
Abstract: A device for ventilating electronic and electrical equipment, subassemblies and components, which are placed in casings, cabinets and subassembly carriers. The device is particularly suitable for slide-in fan modules, which are equipped with axial flow fans and positioned at a relatively small distance from a reception space for the electrical and electronic equipment, etc. to be ventilated. Between the objects to be cooled and the fan unit is provided an air distribution plate, which has punched out air passage openings. In order to achieve a diffuser action and partial direction change of an air volume flow, air deflecting surfaces with a predeterminable inclination and in clearly defined areas are formed by a punching and bending process.

  • Patent number: 5931426
Abstract: The invention relates to a fixing system for the rapid fixing of a component connected to a structural part, such as a sectional rail or flat band, to a further component, such as a vertical strut. A particularly simple fixing structure and an extremely rapid clamping retention is obtained according to the invention by clamping elements and spacing elements, which are constructed on the component connected to the structural part to be fixed and which cooperate with elongated and round holes of a row of holes or with a slot in the further component. The component to be wedged is preferably made from sheet steel.

  • Patent number: 5879167
Abstract: A contact element is used for anticipatory earthing of a plug-in module during insertion in guides of a casing or a modular chassis up to plugging in. In order to ensure a reliable and effective protective earthing and a very early conducting away of electrostatic charges during the plugging-in process, a contact element is provided with a clamping area and a holding area. The clamping area is constructed for contact engagement on a circuit board and the holding area is constructed for retaining the contact element on a cross extrusion of the casing or the modular chassis.

  • Patent number: 5695263
Abstract: The invention relates to a cabinet for receiving electrical and electronic equipment and subassemblies with facing parts, which comprises a frame of vertical, horizontal and transverse sectional bars interconnected by means of corner connectors. In order to obtain a particularly stable and secure cabinet, which also allows an extremely efficient manufacture and assembly, each corner connector is provided with through holes and guide elements constructed in the space coordinate direction for frontal reception and for the easy, reliable fixing of a sectional bar. In addition, each corner connector has a reception area for fixing a base. The base corner parts are preferably made from a one-piece, metallic flat material.
