Abstract: A method for the thermal control of a plurality of components in a vehicle is provided, wherein the vehicle includes as one component at least one computing unit which is configured to execute computations in the vehicle and the vehicle includes as a further component at least one drive train, wherein the computing unit is configured to execute computations required for the operation of the vehicle and additionally to repeatedly execute an exchange of data with a server arranged outside the vehicle, wherein in the method, the actual temperature of the computing unit and of the drive train is determined, and the exchange of data between the computing unit and the server is carried out when the actual temperature of the drive train is below a lower operating temperature threshold of the drive train. A device for performing the method and a vehicle with the device is also provided.

Abstract: A method for operating a motor vehicle, wherein input data concerning the motor vehicle and/or surroundings and/or a user of the motor vehicle are ascertained, wherein at least one trigger condition dependent on the input data is evaluated, wherein, in the event of the respective trigger condition being met, an indication of an activatable vehicle function (28, 32, 44, 51) associated with the respective trigger condition is output to the user, following which, after detection of a predefined control action performed by the user, this vehicle function is activated immediately or after an additional condition has been met.

Abstract: A data connection system for a vehicle is provided. The data connection system comprises an electrical charging station for the vehicle, a first adapter in the charging station, a second adapter in the vehicle, and a connection to a network. The first adapter, in operation, converts digital signals from the network into analog signals. The data connection system, in operation, relays the analog signals from the first adapter to the second adapter. The second adapter, in operation, converts the analog signals into digital signals and provides the analog signals to at least one device of the vehicle.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a motor vehicle having a user recognition device, a user interface, a communication interface for wirelessly providing information to the external environment of the motor vehicle, and a control device. The control device is configured: to register the user on the basis of his determined identity; to select a payment function on the basis of the operating signal; to provide the order data signal during the use of the motor vehicle by the registered user, which signal describes an order data set that describes the registered user’s payment process information that is coupled to the selected payment function and is stored in the user profile; and to transmit the provided order data signal to the communication interface for communicating the payment process information to an extravehicular communication interface of an extravehicular data server device.
