  • Publication number: 20180202692
Abstract: Standalone and self-contained cooling systems using compressed liquid and/or gas CO2 containers positioned in an insulated or non-insulated vessel and consisting of a specially designed unit where the containers are vertically positioned in an upright or upside-down position. The liquid and/or gas CO2 coolant is then released into capillary tube(s) embedded into a heat transfer plate or heat exchanger thus leveraging the CO2 coolant properties. The temperature is controlled by a metering CO2 releasing system encompassing an electronic control device which can be operated remotely and/or via a touch screen and which sends alerts when pre-defined thresholds are exceeded. The invention's metering CO2 releasing system may be triggered by an electronic or a thermostatic valve or may be triggered manually or by an electronic solenoid. The invention's cooling system also encompasses check valves, which avoid liquid and/or gas CO2 from escaping when removing or replacing CO2 containers individually.

  • Patent number: 10023751
Abstract: Polyurethane-based and epoxy-based coating compositions are described that provide coatings and adhesives that are clear, amphiphobic and durable. Both water and hexadecane readily slide off these surfaces without leaving a residue. Coatings with thicknesses ranging from about 10 nm to about 10 ?m exhibited excellent transmittance properties. Such films exhibited durability against abrasion, ink-resistance, anti-graffiti, anti-fingerprint, and strong adhesion to glass surfaces. The coatings are applicable to electronic devices, fabrics, glass, etc. to prepare optically clear, stain-resistant, and smudge-resistant surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20170364515
Abstract: A mobile device capable of offline and online synchronous image identifying is disclosed. The mobile device includes an image capturing unit, a processor, and a display monitor. The image capturing unit retrieves frames of a recognition target. The processor determines whether the mobile device is operatively connected to Internet. Also, the processor sends the frames to a recognition server via the Internet, and performs offline image recognition to the frames and displays the result of the offline image recognition on the display monitor when the mobile device is connected to the Internet, and receives a result of an online image recognition performed synchronously to the frames by the recognition server and displays the result of the online image recognition on the display monitor when the result of the online image recognition has a recognition value higher than a recognition value of the result of the offline image recognition.

  • Patent number: 9817849
Abstract: An image identifying method for offline and online synchronous operation is disclosed. When the mobile device focuses on an recognition target, images frames of an recognition target are retrieved and sent to an recognition server. The mobile device executes an offline recognition operation, and synchronously an recognition server executes an online recognition operation. A plurality of the matching data is saved in the mobile device, and a plurality of recognition data is saved in an recognition server, wherein the recognition data larger than the matching data. When the mobile device firstly generates the recognition result, the recognition result is displayed for user searching reference. If the mobile device receives an recognition result from the recognition server before the mobile device completing the recognition, the recognition result replied form the recognition server is displayed on the display monitor.

  • Patent number: 9349287
Abstract: An embedded Tire Pressure Monitoring sensor is incorporated into vehicular wheels and a secured central server is used to track the unique identification code of each sensor. The TPMS is installed by the vehicular manufacturer in accordance with the federally mandated TREAD Act of 2000. When a vehicle enters the radius of a first encrypted TPM sensor detection transceiver, its TPM sensor identification codes are recorded and time-stamped via an encrypted TPM sensor detection transceiver. If the vehicle enters the area of a second encrypted TPM sensor detection transceiver, the sensor codes will be recorded and time-stamped a second time, encrypted and sent to the secured central server. Using the two encrypted, time-stamped signals, the secured central server calculates traffic flow data.
