  • Patent number: 4433219
Abstract: A miniaturized differential pressure switch comprising a pair of matched square housing sections with a square diaphragm supporting a flat square diaphragm plate which bears against a compression spring that is flexed to open an electrical contact in dependence upon the pressure differential. The compression spring is removably mounted for exchange of springs to vary the range of operation of the switch. The housing section that defines the low pressure chamber provides means for mounting a heat sink that is used for the support of components required for an electronic relay. The switch is suitable for actuation by extreme low pressure, such as 0.01 inch water column.

  • Patent number: 4152688
Abstract: An electrical switch responsive to air flow having an insulated base with a snap action switch mounted thereupon. The snap action switch with an actuating pin impinging on one end of a bar that is mounted on a pivot and axially movable. The other end of the bar extends to clamp an alloy wire exhibiting a high linear coefficient of expansion and which is tied to a spring fixed on the insulated base. From same said spring a second alloy wire is extended to a fixed point on the insulated based in close proximity to the clamp on the bar. The first alloy wire is internally heated by a fixed voltage, the second alloy wire is internally heated by a voltage that is less than the fixed voltage and which is applied only when the snap action switch is deactuated. The second alloy wire provides means for obtaining temperature compensation and smaller differential between the actuating and deactuating air flow.

  • Patent number: 4141357
Abstract: A cup supporter with a spherical shaped pouch. An elastic strap fastened to said spherical shaped pouch provides two attachment straps. Attachment straps are passed through buckles to provide adjustment and fastening of loops or hooks to ends of the attachment strap. The cup supporter is inserted into a garment permanently by use of the attachment strap's loops. Alternate non-permanent insertion is by use of the attachment strap's hooks being fastened to loops attached to the garment. The spherical pouch supports the male vital parts.

  • Patent number: 4085305
Abstract: A liquid flow switch having straight through flow and connections on a common axis. A threaded plug with orifice is interchangable to obtain other rates of specific flow. Flow of fluids through orifice provides a differential pressure to be developed internally of a housing having a pressure responsive diaphragm. The diaphragm supports an actuating element that impinges upon an axially displacable pin extending outwardly of the housing. The pin bears against a flat spring that is flexed to close an electrical contact in dependence upon the specific flow of a liquid.
