  • Patent number: 7878410
Abstract: In one aspect, a label (1) preferably intended for packages for goods, is provided which has, on one hand, a coloring substance of capacity of producing a print by effect of heat, the color of which print contrasts with the base color of the label, and on the other hand, an agent having the purpose of, at least partially, destroying the contrast between the colors, if the label is exposed to a temperature above a predetermined maximum value, the label having a surface field for a print in the form of a bar-code (3). The label is manufactured from a porous, capillary-suctioning material, in addition to which the agent is included in a loading of a substance (7) that is solid at temperatures up to the maximum value, but becomes liquid above the maximum value, the substance loading being located beside the surface field of the bar-code (3). A package for goods provided with a label, as well as a method and equipment for the application of labels to packages for goods, are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20070130979
Abstract: In a first aspect, the invention relates to a piece of freezing furniture comprising a storage space (3), intended for products to be frozen, and a primary air duct (4), which partly surrounds a suction duct (11), having an inlet (12) that mouths at one side of the opening (13) of the storage space (3), as well as a rising duct (14), having an outlet (15) that mouths at the opposite side of said opening (13), and a temperature-change unit (36), which is located in the primary air duct (4) and separates the suction duct (11) from the rising duct (14) and includes a fan (16), a heating element (17) and a cooling element (18), wherein, in normal operation, cooled air flows from the temperature-change unit (36) via the rising duct (14), over and past said opening (13), through the suction duct (11) and back to the temperature-change unit (36). In a second aspect, the invention also relates to an insert for such a piece of freezing furniture.

  • Publication number: 20070041423
Abstract: A package (1) is provided for storing goods in a preservative state where the temperature must be maintained below a set value and having a bar-code (2) which is applied in a surface field (4) omitting extraneous prints and a temperature indicator (3) having variable optical properties when the temperature passes the set limit. The temperature indicator (3) at least partially overlaps the surface field (4) with one or more of the bars in the bar-code (2) being applied on top of the temperature indicator (3). A method for making the package (1) is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060032774
Abstract: The invention relates to a package for goods having a bar-code (2) and a temperature indicator (3) including a contrast medium between a front wall and a base wall. According to the invention, the temperature indicator (3) is placed beside the bar-code (2) in close vicinity of an outer code bar (4) thereof without covering the bar-code, in order to, on one hand, in a first temperature state without hindrance enable scanning of the bar-code, but, on the other hand, after a colour alteration in the contrast medium make scanning impossible, more precisely by making an outer neutral field (5) opaque. The invention also relates to a method for marking packages.

  • Publication number: 20040104141
Abstract: The invention relates to a package for goods having a bar-code (2) and a temperature indicator (3) having a contrast medium between a front wall and a base wall. According to the invention, the temperature indicator (3) is placed beside the bar-code (2) in close connection to an outer code bar (4) thereof without covering the bar-code in order to, on one hand, in a first temperature state unimpededly enable scanning of the bar-code, but, on the other hand, after changing of the colour in the contrast medium make scanning impossible, more precisely by making an outer neutral field (5) opaque. The invention also relates to a temperature indicator as such as well as a method for marking packages.

  • Publication number: 20030047477
Abstract: In a first aspect, the invention relates to a package (1) for keeping goods in a temperature-decreased, preservative state, in which the temperature should have a certain desired value. According to the invention, the package is connected to a temperature indicator (2) comprising means, which preserves a certain property when the temperature of the goods is decreased towards and past a predetermined limit value, which is at least somewhat higher than said desired value, but which alters this property in an irreversible way if the temperature during the storage would rise to or above said limit value. Advantageously, the temperature indicator (2) may be transparent as long as the temperature is lower than said limit value, but become opaque when the limit value is exceeded, e.g. in order to make reading of a bar-code (8) impossible. In a second aspect, the invention also relates to the temperature indicator as such.

  • Patent number: 6081975
Abstract: A hook for webbing comprises a metal rod bent in a single piece having an upper cross piece (1) intended for receiving a webbing, said cross piece transforming into two legs (2, 2') which converge from opposite ends thereof so as to form a loop part together with the cross piece, at least one of the legs transforming into a curved portion (4, 4') forming a lower hook part (5). The curved rod portion (4, 4') of the hook part (5) has a height which is larger than the width thereof in a cross-section in the area of the bottom of the hook part and thus a moment of inertia which is larger than the moment of inertia of a conventional round rod. In addition, the cross piece (1) has a cross-section-wise larger height than width and is, with the geometrical normal or major axis thereof, obliquely inclined in relation to the legs, more precisely into a plane of forces extending towards the hook part (5).

  • Patent number: 5904341
Abstract: A strap tensioning device comprises a frame (1) with a rotatable reel (3) and a turnable command member (2). A ratchet wheel (43) is co-rotatively connected with the reel, the wheel cooperating with two spring-loaded latch elements (14, 29). When the command member (2) is turned out from the frame (1), the reel (3) is carried with it. At an opposed return movement, the reel (3) is blocked. A rotatable support roller (4) is arranged between the two side pieces (5, 5') of the frame (1). The reel (3) comprises a shaft (16) whose opposed ends are arranged in elongated holes (9). In this way, the reel (3) may be distanced from the support roller (4), whereby the device may be used for both strap tensioning and strap feeding.

  • Patent number: 5832572
Abstract: A safety hook comprises a hook (1) having a cross piece (4) from which two side pieces (5, 5') extend in the direction forwards to a curved part (7, 7'), as well as a latch plate (2) which is connectable to the side pieces of the hook so as to resiliently abut against the inside thereof. The latch plate (2) is thin and elastically deformable and has two recessions (9, 9') opening outwards for receiving of portions of the side pieces (5, 5') of the hook in order to connect the plate therewith.
