  • Patent number: 8328119
Abstract: A water outlet for a low pressure sanitary outlet fitting has a perforated structure which is air-permeable counter to the water outlet direction and, in the unpressurized state, holds water in the outlet direction, and has a plurality of throughflow holes. At least one bypass is provided, which bypasses the perforated structure and has an opening cross section which is larger than the throughflow holes. A bypass valve is movable from a closed position into an open position counter to a resetting force as a consequence of an increase in pressure on the inflow side. If a hot water tank connected upstream of the water outlet fitting increasingly contracts as the heated water therein cools, air can nevertheless be sucked in via the perforated structure and the pressure can be equalized. If excessive pressures builds up with the heating of the water in the hot water tank, the bypass valve moves from a closed position into an open position counter to a resetting force.

  • Patent number: 8308079
Abstract: A sanitary installation element (1) having at least one bypass or cleaning duct (6) which is assigned a valve in whose open position the at least one bypass or cleaning duct is connected switched on. The installation element (1) according to the invention is characterized in that the installation element (1) has a filter screen (4) with at least one outlet opening (5), which outlet opening (5) has a larger clear opening cross section than the screen openings of the filter screen (4), that the at least one outlet opening (5) opens into the at least one bypass or cleaning duct (6), and that, as seen in the direction of flow, the outlet opening (5) is arranged in front of at least one liquid-conveying component of at least one functional unit situated in the installation element (1) and, as seen in the direction of flow, the duct outlet of the at least one bypass or cleaning duct (6) is arranged after this component.

  • Publication number: 20120091232
Abstract: A jet aerator (1) having an aerator housing (8) that can be installed in the water discharge of a sanitary outlet fitting, and having a jet splitter (12) in the interior of the housing, dividing the inflowing water flow into a plurality of individual jets, a mixing zone (14) being disposed downstream of the splitter for aerating the individual jets, wherein at least one aerator duct (16) is provided that ends in the mixing zone (14). The jet aerator has a throttle or closing piece (18) for reducing and/or optionally activating or deactivating the aerating function, the throttle or closing piece being displaceable between an open position opening the at least one aerating duct (16) and a throttle or closing position at least partially closing the at least one aerating duct (16) by a rotary and/or sliding movement.

  • Publication number: 20110309168
Abstract: A manual spray head can be connected with a flexible hose line by means of a coupling that has a ball-and-socket joint inserted between the manual spray head and the hose line. This arrangement not only increases the mobility and flexibility between the manual spray head and the flexible hose line, but also permits twisting of the manual spray head relative to the hose line without fear of unscrewing the screw-type connection or similar coupling provided between the manual spray head and the hose line.

  • Publication number: 20110266369
Abstract: A functional plumbing unit is provided, which is configured as an insertion cartridge insertable into a fluid conduit of a discharging plumbing fixture. The insertion cartridge includes a housing and a jet regulator. The housing includes an external thread on an outside thereof, configured to be screwed into an internal thread of the discharging plumbing fixture, a height of the housing, in a flow direction, generally corresponds to the external thread, a ring seal located in a downstream position therefrom and an upstream housing edge, the external thread is arranged between the downstream ring seal and the upstream housing edge, and at least a jet fractionating part, is arranged at an inlet end configured to be connected to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20110139283
Abstract: A jet regulator or jet aerator is provided with a jet regulator housing insertable into a water outlet and detachably held therein by threaded or bayonet connection. The jet regulator housing has an outflow-side housing partial region with a reduced housing outer circumference compared to the inflow-side housing partial region, and the outflow-side housing partial region is insertable into an insert opening of a turning tool such that the turning tool can be applied to a tool working surface in a rotationally fixed manner. The tool working surface is provided on the outflow-side frontal edge, the housing circumference of the outflow-side housing partial region and/or an annular shoulder surrounding the housing partial region on the outside. A sanitary water outlet is also provided, which for a plurality of visibly separately emerging water jets has a corresponding plurality of water outflows spaced apart from one another.
