  • Publication number: 20240051397
Abstract: A method for discharging an electrical energy storage unit of an electrical circuit includes a first switching system defining a DC/AC voltage converter and interposed between a first electrical sub-circuit, which includes the electrical energy storage unit and the electrical winding of the stator of a rotary electric machine. A second switching system defines a DC/DC voltage converter interposed between the first electrical sub-circuit and a second electrical sub-circuit. At least one electrical consumer forms part of the first electrical sub-circuit. The method includes detecting that the voltage across the terminals of the electrical energy storage unit exceeds a predefined threshold, and controlling at least one of the first switching system, the second switching system and the electrical consumer so as to reduce the voltage across the terminals of the electrical energy storage unit by circulating an additional current in the stator electrical winding, second switching system, or electrical consumer.

  • Patent number: 11594995
Abstract: The invention relates to a system 1 for controlling a voltage converter comprising a plurality of high-side switches forming a high group and a plurality of low-side switches forming a low group, the control system 1 comprising: a module 10 for measuring a voltage V of the DC voltage source B, a module 11 for comparing the measured voltage V with a first safety threshold OV1, a control module 12 for controlling a first group of switches so as to close chosen from the high group or the low group, if the comparison module 11 indicates that the measured voltage V is higher than the first safety threshold OV1.

  • Patent number: 11451184
Abstract: A control system has a microcontroller (242) that receives a mode request (MR), a command-generating device (244) to supply commands and to transfer the mode request (MS) to an output pin of the microcontroller (242), and a device for detecting accidental starting (258), as well as a pilot (260) that supplies an output command signal to the switch (222; 224). The pilot (260) is connected to the output pin to receive the transmitted mode request (MS). The output pin is connected to an input pin of the microcontroller (242) to receive the transmitted mode request (MS), and the accidental starting detection device (258) detects when the transmitted mode request (MS) received on the input pin indicates a motor mode even though the mode request (MR) received by the microcontroller (242) indicates an alternator mode and, when this is the case, sends an inhibition command (INHIB_P; INHIB_T) to the pilot (260).
