    Abstract: To provide a parking brake apparatus for a saddled vehicle actuated in response to a reverse rotation on a throttle grip which is set in a simplified structure. A parking brake apparatus for a saddled vehicle includes a parking brake caliper configured to restrict a rotation of a rear wheel while the motorcycle is parked; a steering handle configured to steer a front wheel; and a throttle grip mounted on the steering handle and configured to control output of a power unit. The control unit actuates the parking brake caliper by a motor when at least the throttle grip is reversely rotated and the vehicle speed is zero. The throttle grip being reversely rotated is detected according to information from a throttle position sensor which is interlocked with the throttle grip.

    Abstract: A hair clipper includes, in addition to a cutter head, a hair entrapping member and a hair pressing member which are both movable relative to a cutting edge of the cutter head. The cutter head comprises a toothed stationary blade and a toothed movable blade. The movable blade is driven to reciprocate in shearing engagement with the stationary blade for shearing hairs therebetween. The hair entrapping member is movable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position the hair entrapping member is spaced away from the cutting edge of the cutter head, thus permitting hairs to enter between the hair entrapping member and the cutting edge. In the closed position, the hair entrapping member is held close to the cutting edge to thereby seize the hairs therebetween for shearing the hairs.

    Abstract: A clipper comprises an elongated handle grip 10 and a cutting head 20 which has an outer shearing foil 22 and an inner cutter assembly 40 driven to rotate in engagement with the undersurface of the outer shearing foil 22 for clipping the entangled fiber strands from the surface of a fabric. The cutting head 20 has a center axis which is perpendicular to the general top plane of the shearing foil 22 and about which the inner cutter assembly 40 rotates. The cutting head 20 extends forwardly from the one longitudinal end of the handle grip 10 with its center axis angled at an obtuse angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the handle grip 10. A recovery chute 60 is provided along the front face 11 of the handle grip 10 for recovering the clipped fiber strands from within the cutting head 20.

    Abstract: An electric hair clipper includes a hair thinning comb attachment detachable to a housing provided with a cutter assembly. The comb attachment is formed with a row of hair guiding slots which is in parallel and juxtaposed relation with the cutting edge of the cutter assembly for guiding the hair past the cutting edge in the process of hair thinning operation. A rotary adjustor dial is mounted on the housing and is drivingly connected to the comb attachment for varying the relative position of the comb attachment to the housing and therefore the distance between the row of the hair guiding slots and the cutting edge, thus adjusting the cutting length of hair intended by simple manipulation of the rotary adjustor dial.

    Abstract: A novel comb attachment for use with a hair clipper is disclosed herein. The comb attachment is adapted to fit over the front portion of the hair clipper including a cutter assembly having an elongated cutting edge. The cutter assembly comprises a movable cutter reciprocating with respect to a stationary cutter, these cutters defining therebetween a cutting plane. Formed in the front end of the attachment is a series of spaced comb teeth the row of which is in close and parallel relationship with the cutting edge of the cutter assembly for guiding hairs into the cutting edge. Each of the comb teeth is formed at the location above the cutting plane with at least one barb projecting on its side and upper faces to define therebehind a rearwardly oriented shoulder. These shoulders act as stoppers for the clipped hair strands which have been sheared and fed rearwardly of the cutting edge when advancing the hair clipper through a user's hair for a continuous hair cut.
