  • Publication number: 20140019970
Abstract: A migration of a virtual machine is performed to the nearest virtual-machine-operating server derived from location coordinates information of a client terminal, to establish a connection with a virtual-machine-operating server subjected to a reduced influence of the line delay. Specifically, a location optimization server on the network manages virtual-machine-operating servers on which a virtual machine providing a server for the client terminal operates, and orders a migration of the virtual machine to a destination virtual-machine-operating server selected depending on the location coordinates information related to the client terminal. In this operation, the location optimization server issues instructions related to the migration of the virtual machine to both of the virtual-machine-operating server on which the virtual machine is currently operating and the destination virtual-machine-operating server.

  • Patent number: 7810408
Abstract: There is provided a steering column supporting apparatus in which tilt pins are locked on a tilt bracket fixed to a vehicle body and engaged with tilt plates welded to respective both sides of a steering column, and slotted holes extended in the axial direction of the steering column are formed in the tilt plates. A bulging part is formed on a lower surface of the steering column, and is designed to be larger in size than a gap between the lower surface of the steering column and the tilt bracket and increased in height as it goes rearward in the direction of the length of a vehicle. Therefore, it is possible to effectively reduce impact load applied to the steering column in the event of head-on vehicle crash.

  • Patent number: 7707908
Abstract: A steering column is attached to a fixing bracket of a vehicle body through a support bracket such that the steering column is inclined with respect to a vertical plane perpendicular to the width direction of the vehicle body. A guide plate is attached to one of both side portions of the fixing bracket. The one side portion is located on the side toward which the rear portion of the steering column is inclined. When the support bracket moves due to external force acting thereon, the guide plate restricts movement of the support bracket in the width direction of the vehicle body to permit the steering column to move toward the front of the vehicle body while at the same time suppressing swaying motion of the steering column, thereby stabilizing the load at the time of absorption of impact.

  • Patent number: 7532344
Abstract: In an ink-jet print system, when a printing apparatus denies transfer of print data transferred from an information processing apparatus, if the operation state of the printing apparatus is a predetermined state, a time-out error of the information processing apparatus due to transfer denial can be prevented. When the information processing apparatus generates print data to be printed by the printing apparatus, it checks transfer permission/denial information indicating transfer permission/denial of print data, and operation information indicating an operation state of the printing apparatus, which are sent from the printing apparatus, before the generated print data is transferred to the printing apparatus.
