  • Publication number: 20050206829
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device of the present invention is one in which unevenness of display, spots generated due to lowering of voltage retention because of impurity ions are sufficiently eliminated and reliability of long-time/long-term use is improved. A liquid crystal display device of the present invention is one comprising a first substrate and a second substrate configured via a liquid crystal layer and a seal, wherein at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate comprises, towards the liquid crystal layer, a color filter layer, a transparent electrode and an alignment layer in this order and at least one of the transparent electrode and the alignment layer covers the color filter layer in a non-display region.

  • Publication number: 20040185765
Abstract: Noise caused by the disturbance of the air flow is reduced. A flow straightening grid 30 is provided at an area where the air flow turns about 180 degrees in an air path 23, or in the vicinity thereof. Because of this, the air flow can be prevented from being disturbed in the air path 23 and, therefore, noise caused by the disturbance of the air flow can be reduced effectively.

  • Publication number: 20040125299
Abstract: In order to provide a liquid crystal display causing no unevenness of the cell gap and preventing the occurrence of non-uniformity of a display in spite of a conductive material, for electrically connecting two substrates, provided in an area inside a sealant, the liquid crystal display has a configuration that a liquid crystal panel has a liquid crystal layer between two transparent substrates which are adhered to each other by a sealing adhesive and a conductive material is formed in a spot form along the liquid crystal layer side of the sealing adhesive so as to electrically connect opposing electrode connecting terminals to opposing common electrodes formed on the transparent substrates.

  • Patent number: 6441807
Abstract: A display system includes a sheet member onto which information is input, and a position coordinate detector such as a pressure sensitive touch panel. The position coordinate detector is formed as a body separate from the sheet member and is arranged behind the sheet member. It detects the position of information input on the sheet member. A computer, to which the output data of the position coordinate detector is transferred, processes the information input to the sheet member. When the sheet member is used as a projection screen, the computer connects to a projector to project the input information onto the sheet member.

  • Patent number: 4878873
Abstract: A doll toy has head and trunk portions which are illuminated to project images thereon by a single interior light source. Illumination of both portions is achieved by making inner cavities of the two portions in communication with each other, so that the light source disposed in the trunk portion and head portions. Projectable images are contained on transparent frames located in both the trunk and head portions.

  • Patent number: 4850930
Abstract: An animated toy is described, including a voice input device for receiving a voice signal transmitted from outside the toy; a driving circuit which shapes a waveform of the voice signal input from the voice input device to output a drive signal; and a driving mechanism which actuates a movable portion of the toy in response to the drive signal from the driving circuit and is returned to its initial stop position when no drive signal is supplied.
