Abstract: A liquid ejection head includes: a first head unit; a second head unit disposed adjacent to the first head unit in a first direction and located on a first side of the first head unit in a second direction; and a heat uniforming unit shared by the first head unit and the second head unit. Each of the first head unit and the second head unit includes: a unit body including an actuator; and a first driver integrated circuit disposed on the first side of the unit body in the second direction. The heat uniforming unit includes a first heat uniforming member disposed on the first side of the first head unit and the second head unit in the second direction. The first heat uniforming member includes a first protrusion located next to the second head unit in the first direction and protruding toward the first head unit.
Abstract: Provided is an adhesive that can provide quick bonding between thermoplastic resins and excellent bond strength, a structure having adhesion provided by the adhesive, and an adhesion method using the adhesive. The adhesive bonds a first member (11) containing a thermoplastic resin or a carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin and a second member (12) containing the thermoplastic resin or the carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin. The adhesive includes a thermoplastic resin as a main component containing a metal nano material that absorbs electromagnetic waves and generates heat.

Abstract: A liquid ejection head is connected to a storage chamber having an outlet port and an inlet port. The liquid ejection head includes a plurality of discrete passages, a common channel and a protruding piece. The plurality of discrete passages each has an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The common channel is defined by two walls facing with each other. The common channel includes a common supply channel and a common return channel. The common supply channel is connected to the outlet port and to the inlet opening to introduce the liquid. The common return channel is connected to the outlet opening and to the inlet port to return the liquid. The protruding piece is provided in each of the common supply channel and the common return channel and protruding from at least one of the walls.
Abstract: A liquid discharge head includes: individual channels respectively including nozzles; a supply channel allowing an outlet of a storage chamber storing a liquid to communicate with an inlet of each of the individual channels; a return channel allowing an outlet of each of the individual channels to communicate with an inlet of the storage chamber; a return filter provided in the return channel; and a return branching channel branching off from a return upstream portion of the return channel. The return upstream portion is positioned upstream of the return filter.
Abstract: There is provided a liquid discharge head including: an individual channel member including individual channel rows; a first common channel member including first common channels and a first partitioning wall, and a damper joined to the first common channel member with adhesive. The damper has first portions that are elastically deformable and overlap with the first common channels and a second portion joined to the first partitioning wall and connected to the first portions. The second portion is thicker than the first portions.
Abstract: A blower which uses a rotation prevention member in which a rotating shaft with circular cross section is press-fitted is disclosed. The blower includes a scroll housing, a resin-made stator which is press-fitted on a rotating shaft with circular cross section, and a centrifugal fan which has a boss inserted on the stator, a cone extending from the boss, and blades extending from the cone, in which the stator and boss are a tubular members. A stator engagement part is formed in a stator outer circumferential face. The stator has a first weld face which extends substantially perpendicular to an axial direction of the rotating shaft, and second and third weld faces which are arranged to extend in the axial direction. A boss engagement part is formed in an inner circumferential face of a boss through hole and engages with the stator.
Abstract: A tilting pad gas bearing includes: a plurality of bearing pads disposed in a circumferential direction of a rotor; and a pivot member that swingably supports the bearing pads. Each of the bearing pads has a curved shape and includes: a pad main body supported by the pivot member; a heat insulating material layer disposed on a side of the pad main body that faces the outer circumferential surface of the rotor, and formed of a material having a thermal conductivity lower than a thermal conductivity of the pad main body; and a concave portion disposed in an outer circumferential surface on an outer circumferential side of the bearing pad in a curving direction. A base end of the pivot member is fixed to a housing, and the pivot member has a protruding portion that passes through the housing.

Abstract: An actuator device includes an actuator substrate having actuators, individual conductors electrically connected with the actuators respectively, and dummy conductors; and a bonding member bonded to a surface of the actuator substrate provided with the individual conductors and the dummy conductors. The individual conductors are aligned in an alignment direction to form a first row and a second row arranged in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the alignment direction. In a first end portion of the actuator substrate on one side in the alignment direction, first individual conductors are aligned in the alignment direction without intervening second individual conductors therebetween. In a second end portion of the actuator substrate on the other side in the alignment direction, the second individual conductors are aligned in the alignment direction without intervening the first individual conductors therebetween.

Abstract: Disclosed is a thermostable DNA polymerase preparation which can illimitably reduce the risk of false positivity in the detection of a subject microorganism utilizing a gene amplification reaction and therefore enables the selective amplification of DNA for detecting the subject microorganism even when the amount of the subject microorganism is small and therefore the amount of DNA collected therefrom is extremely small, and can be produced at a reduced cost. Also disclosed is a method for quantifying or quantifying/identifying a subject organism to be detected rapidly, conveniently and with high sensitivity using the preparation of the present invention.
