  • Publication number: 20220319766
Abstract: In the multi-layer coil component, the via conductor electrically connecting the coil layers adjacent to each other in the stacking direction of the element body protrudes from the coil region toward the side surface of the element body when viewed from the stacking direction of the element body. Therefore, the coil has a concave-convex portion. When a force is applied to the multi-layer coil component from the outside, the force is dispersed in the concave-convex portion of the coil, and thus defects are less likely to occur in the coil than in a coil in which the side of the side surfaces is flat.

  • Publication number: 20220310312
Abstract: In the multi-layer coil component, the lead conductor is exposed from the end surface of the element body and is connected to the external electrode provided on the end surface. When the lead conductor is led out to the end surface of the element body, the lead area can be easily increased as compared with the case where the lead conductor is led out to the side surface of the element body. Therefore, by connecting the coil and the external electrode via the lead conductor, high connectivity between the coil and the external electrode is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20220301761
Abstract: In the multi-layer inductor, a through conductor provided in a sintered element body includes a pair of extracting conductors and a pair of internal conductors, and an end portion of the extracting conductor and an end portion of the internal conductor overlap each other in a stacking direction of the element body. Thus, the amount of shrinkage of each conductor during sintering of the element body is reduced, and internal stress generated in the element body after sintering is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20050194474
Abstract: An electrostatic atomizer (1) is attached to the distal end of an arm (17) of a painting robot to change the direction of paint sprayed from it, following to movements of a wrist portion (17a) of the arm (17). The electrostatic atomizer 1 includes a high voltage generator (4) that is supplied with electric power via a low voltage cable (16) extending through the arm (17). The low voltage cable (16) has an elastically shaped portion (16a) at least as a part thereof. The elastically shaped portion (16a) absorbs torsional or tensile force produced in the low voltage cable (16) under rotations of the wrist portion (17a) of the arm (17) and thereby prevents breakage of wires in the low voltage cable (16).

  • Publication number: 20020158586
Abstract: A method for setting the amount of light in an array of light-emitting thyristors, each thyristor having I-L characteristic in which a luminous efficiency is decreased in a lower current field, is provided. According to the method, the amount of light emitted from a light-emitting thyristor is set so that a predetermined exposure energy may be obtained without decreasing a luminous efficiency of a light-emitting thyristor. The density D of a current to be supplied to the light-emitting thyristor to obtain a predetermined exposure energy is selected so as to satisfy the range of 3×Dth<D<100 MA/m2, wherein Dth is a threshold current density for light emission which is defined as a current density corresponding to the value of a current at a point where a tangent drawn at the value of a current corresponding to a current density of 50 MA/m2 with respect to the curve of the I-L characteristic intersects a current axis.

  • Patent number: 5499306
Abstract: A positional relationship between an autonomous mobile robot and a workpiece to be handled by the robot is calculated promptly and accurately on the basis of the image information obtained from a monocular vision camera mounted on the robot. Extracting the image feature points of the workpiece taken by the camera, a search region with a plurality of discrete space points is set on the basis of the estimated position and attitude of the camera. Then, the estimated image feature points of the workpiece, to be obtained when the workpiece is taken a view from these space points, are obtained. Then an error between the image feature point and the estimated feature point is calculated, and the position and attitude of the camera can be determined by finding the space point where the error is minimized.
