  • Publication number: 20080022873
Abstract: In a sheet bundle printing system, a sheet is fed by peeling an uppermost sheet from a sheet bundle. A printing device has a printing head and a platen roller for printing on the sheet. An ink ribbon is fed through space between the printing head and the platen roller in parallel with the sheet at the time of printing thereon. The platen roller is moved back and forth relative to the printing head between a printing position in which the platen roller is urged into contact with the printing head and a contact-free position in which the platen roller is out of contact with the printing head. Ink-ribbon feeding is suspended in a manner interlocked with the relative movement of the printing head and the platen roller between the printing position and the contact-free position.

  • Publication number: 20080018042
Abstract: There is provided a sticky note supply device that separates an uppermost sticky note from a stacks of sticky note one by one so as to discharge to the outside of the device from a discharge section. The sticky note supply device includes a transport unit that separates the sticky note to discharge the sticky note to the outside of the device from the discharge section, a control unit that controls the drive of the transport unit, and a detecting unit that is provided in the discharge section so as to detect whether the sticky note is present or not. When a next sticky note starts to be transported after the sticky note is completely transported by the transport unit and the detecting unit detects the presence, the control unit prohibits the transport unit from being driven.

  • Patent number: 6705784
Abstract: There is provided a tape printing apparatus which is capable of positively discharging a cut-off tape strip of a tape material out of the apparatus by forcibly discharging the same, thereby preventing jamming and double cutting of the tape material. A full-cutting device for cutting a printed strip off the tape material is arranged at a location downstream of a printing section in a tape-feeding direction. A half-cutting device carries out half-cutting of the tape material. A tape discharge device forcibly discharges the cut-off tape strip out of the apparatus via a tape exit.

  • Patent number: 6182565
Abstract: This invention relates to provide a label printer which prints by using data recorded in a recordable/reproducible disc and forms a label for the disc. The printer is capable of creating labels to affixed to various portions of the disc and a disc cartridge of the disc by easy operations, and at a time. Further, irrespective of the size of contents of the disc, the printer can create a label from which contents of the disc are grasped at a glance.

  • Patent number: 6042039
Abstract: A tape reel device includes a spool in the form of a hollow cylinder having a hollow portion for winding a tape material around a peripheral surface thereof, a casing rotatably accommodating the spool, and a braking mechanism in sliding contact with the spool. The baking mechanism applies back tension to the tape material being rolled out from the spool. The braking means comprises a sliding-contact member brought into contact with the spool in an axial direction such that the spool is circumferentially slidable on the sliding-contact member, and a spring arranged within the hollow portion of the spool and supported by the casing for urging the sliding-contact member in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 4387270
Abstract: A method of harmonizing the impedances of an audio amplifier and a loudspeaker interconnected therewith, the audio amplifier including a line amplifier and a positive feedback circuit for compensating for the counter electromotive force of the loudspeaker. A voice coil of the loudspeaker is mechanically driven for generating an electric signal at input terminals of the loudspeaker. Then, the amplification degree of the line amplifier or the positive feedback circuit is adjusted to reduce the signal voltage between the input terminals of the loudespeaker to a minimum, during the circulation of the generated signal through the positive feedback circuit and the line amplifier.

  • Patent number: 4379209
Abstract: An audio amplifier having an auxiliary terminal for connection of a feedback line to the grounded terminal of a loudspeaker and including a circuit for protection against voltage overload on the amplifier and loudspeaker if the auxiliary terminal is inadvertently connected to the ungrounded terminal of the loudspeaker, or in case of malfunction of the feedback circuit. The protection circuit includes a signal generator activated by the closing of a power switch for producing a check signal for circuiting through the terminals of the loudspeaker to the auxiliary terminal and a controller sensitive to the voltage at the auxiliary terminal for controlling a switch for disconnecting the feedback line, if the voltage at the auxiliary terminal exceeds a predetermined value.
