  • Patent number: 8827130
Abstract: A method of ripping a plate material having a resilient part, a frame, and an easily breaking part formed between the resilient part and the frame includes holding the frame between an upper pad and a die on a first side of the easily breaking part, moving a punch toward a lower pad that is retractable against pushing force, to clamp the resilient part between the punch and the lower pad on a second side of the easily breaking part, and driving the punch so that the punch guides the plate material and applies tension to the easily breaking part in a surface direction of the plate material, thereby ripping the plate material along the easily breaking part. The method is capable of ripping the plate material without causing burrs.

  • Patent number: 8511210
Abstract: A method of cutting a laminated material 10A made of at least first and second plates that are laid one on another and fixed together includes holding the laminated material 10A between a pad 71 and a clamp base 73, so that an edge 14a of the first plate 14 is positioned between an edge 71a of the pad 71 and an edge 73a of the clamp base 73; and cutting a protrusion of the second plate 12 protruding from the edge 14a of the first plate 14 by moving a punch 75 along the pad 71 in a direction from the second plate 12 toward the first plate 14 and by using the first plate 14 as a die to cut the protrusion of the second plate 12. The method is capable of precisely cutting the protrusion of the second plate 12 protruding from the edge 14a of the first plate 14 through a reduced number of processes.

  • Patent number: 8499439
Abstract: A positioning apparatus has a pilot holder having a hold face, a positioning pin having a tapered tip and supported by the pilot holder so that the tapered tip protrudes from the hold face of the pilot holder, a pad having a pad face that opposes the hold face of the pilot holder, and a movable member having a stop face that opposes the positioning pin and a relief hole for avoiding the tapered tip of the positioning pin from hitting the stop face, the movable member resiliently supported on the pad. The pilot holder and the pad in which the thin plate material is set between the hold face and the pad face relatively move to insert the tapered tip of the positioning pin into the positioning hole of the thin plate material. The stop face is flush with or protruding from the pad face of the pad.

  • Patent number: 4523286
Abstract: A diagnostic apparatus for diagnosising of a valve device in a turbine system comprises at least one of a pressure sensor for sensing hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic cylinder for driving a valve body of the valve device and a position sensor for sensing the displacement of the valve body, and a processing device for processing the output signal from the above-mentioned at least one sensor. The processing device has an offset computing device which receives a signal representing the actual operating state of the valve device obtained on the basis of the output signal from the at least one sensor and a signal corresponding to a reference value obtained under the normal operating state of the valve device. The offset computing device is operable to compute the offset between the signals received thereto. A judging device is provided for judging as to whether or not there is a symptom of a sticking in the valve device, in accordance with the output signal from the offset computing device.
