  • Patent number: 8465817
Abstract: A polyester container furnished with a flange part having mechanical strength, transparency, and heat resistance through orientational crystallization, which polyester container exhibits low-temperature heat sealability, is provided by forming a projecting portion at an upper surface of the crystallized flange part, the projecting portion at at least a heat-sealing-face constituting region rendered amorphous or of low crystallinity. Further, in order to suppress the unevenness of the strength of sealing with a cover member and stably attain the high sealability, the projecting portion is deformed at the time of heat sealing with the cover member so as to form a resin piece protruding toward the interior of the container while being substantially appressed against the upper surface of an opening rim part. The formed resin piece couples with a sealant layer of the cover member.

  • Patent number: 7582249
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin vessel, in which a cup-shaped vessel is thermally formed from a thermoplastic resin sheet by a plug, the method including the steps of: pre-forming a portion of the thermoplastic resin sheet corresponding to an orifice portion or a flange portion of the cup-shaped vessel; and clamping the pre-formed portion of the thermoplastic resin sheet to accomplish the forming. According to the manufacturing method, thickening of a vessel bottom part and warpage of the flange portion can be improved.

  • Patent number: 4117080
Abstract: NO.sub.x is absorbed in an alkaline aqueous solution of a permanganate and/or a manganate and the manganese compounds are reduced to form the precipitate of manganese dioxide. The manganese dioxide is dispersed in an aqueous solution of sodium or potassium hydroxide having a concentration of higher than 20% and a gas containing NO.sub.x having a molar ratio of NO.sub.2 /NO.sub.x of higher than 0.55 is contacted with the dispersion in the presence of a permanganate and/or a manganate at higher than 40.degree. C, to convert manganese dioxide to the permanganate and/or the manganate.

  • Patent number: 4021196
Abstract: Fiber products of a blend of an acrylic fiber substantially free of acid dye sites with an acid dyeable fiber are printed with a dye paste containing a monosulfonic acid dye having an inorganicity/organicity ratio less than 4 to dye both fibers of the blend uniformly. As an alternative an additional acid dye outside the specific class designated may be used to augment the dyeing of the acid dyeable fiber.
