Patent number: 8113155Abstract: A two-cycle engine includes a starting fuel supply passage for supplying a starting fuel to a crankcase from a starting fuel reservoir, and a flow passage opening and closing unit provided in a midway portion of the starting fuel supply passage. The starting fuel supply passage is opened to be constantly in communication with the crankcase. Accordingly, simultaneously with the generation of a negative pressure within the crankcase when a piston starts to ascend from a bottom dead center, the starting fuel starts to be supplied to the crankcase. Since the starting fuel is supplied to the crankcase for a relatively long time as compared to a conventional engine, a sufficient amount of the fuel is supplied for starting and startability of the two-cycle engine is improved.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2007Date of Patent: February 14, 2012Assignee: Husqvarna Zenoah Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takashi Ooniwa, Hideo Koizumi

Patent number: 5983951Abstract: A wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant loom part comprises a Fe--Cr based alloy or a Fe--Cr--Ni based alloy, which has a substantially dual-phase structure comprising a ferrite phase and a martensite phase. The Fe--Cr based alloy preferably contains 10 to 20% by weight Cr, and contains 5 to 70 volume % of the ferrite phase in its structure. The Fe--Cr--Ni based alloy preferably contains 10 to 30% by weight of Cr, 0.01 to 15% by weight of Ni, and 5 to 70 volume % of the ferrite phase in its structure. The maximum crystal particle diameter of the Fe--Cr based alloy or the Fe--Cr--Ni based alloy is preferably 20 .mu.m or less. The loom part is preferably formed of either a dent of a reed or a heddle.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 1997Date of Patent: November 16, 1999Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Junji Taniguchi, Kazuya Tsujimoto, Hideo Koizumi, Yasuhisa Shiraishi

Patent number: 4671696Abstract: A shaft assembly comprises a shaft having at least one small diameter portion located on the way in the axial direction thereof, and at least one member mounted to the outer periphery of the small diameter portion of the shaft rotatably and/or movably in the axial direction. The shaft assembly is produced by first forming the member on a large diameter portion of the shaft and then moving the member from the large diameter portion to the small diameter portion. The member moved to the small diameter portion is mounted to the small diameter portion rotatably and/or movably in the axial direction by the shrinkage thereof.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 1985Date of Patent: June 9, 1987Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Tadashi Suzuki, Hideo Koizumi, Jun Takeyama, Kunitsugu Tsukui

Patent number: 4531227Abstract: The invention provides a rotary anode which has a graphite body having a plurality of radial slits and a target layer adhered to the upper surface of the graphite body. The target layer is a single layer of tungsten or a tungsten alloy, or a composite layer consisting of the single layer and a molybdenum layer. In the manufacturing process and in use of the rotary anode, a thermal stress which occurs in the graphite body is decreased, thus preventing cracking of the graphite body. The invention also provides a method for manufacturing the rotary anode.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1982Date of Patent: July 23, 1985Assignee: Tokyo Shibaura Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yoshio Fukuhara, Hideo Koizumi
