  • Publication number: 20120083409
Abstract: Disclosed is a TiO2 nano particle exhibiting a strongly activated catalyst function. The TiO2 nano particle is created by a step of mixing Ti powder and metal powder M (M is Ni, Cr, Pt, Rh, Ru or Cu), a step of generating heat plasma, and a step of supplying a mixture of the titanium powder and the metal powder to the heat plasma using an inert gas as a carrier gas and supplying oxygen gas to the heat plasma. The created TiO2 nano particle is injected with a metal and/or a metal oxide MxOy (M is Ni, Cr, Pt, Rh, Ru or Cu, x=1, 2, 3 . . . and y=0, 1, 2 . . . ), thereby exhibiting high photocatalytic activity.

  • Publication number: 20060130081
Abstract: A device has excellent usability and makes it possible to, for example, prevent damage to a disc-shaped recording medium and reliably transport the disc-shaped recording medium. The device includes first transporting means (6) and second transporting means (7) disposed on opposite sides of a disc-shaped recording medium (200) that is being transported for transporting the disc-shaped recording medium by being pushed against the outer peripheral surface of the disc-shaped recording medium from the opposite sides. The first transporting means includes a plurality of feed rollers (9) which are disposed apart from each other along a transportation path of the disc-shaped recording medium and which transport the disc-shaped recording medium while transferring it by independently and successively rolling on the outer peripheral surface of the disc-shaped recording medium.

  • Publication number: 20050175113
Abstract: A digital signal demodulator digitizes an OFDM signal at a sampling frequency from a sampling oscillator to produce a digital OFDM signal. The digital OFDM signal is converted into I and Q components using a carrier frequency from a carrier oscillator. The IQ components are transformed into digital complex symbols, and pilot signals are extracted from the complex symbols. A processor calculates an inter-symbol difference of phase differences between pilot signals to control the sampling oscillator to correct the sampling frequency; calculates an inter-symbol difference for one of the pilot signals to control the carrier oscillator to correct the carrier frequency; and calculates a phase angle for one of the subcarriers at a frequency in the middle of the plurality of subcarriers for the OFDM signal to control the carrier oscillator to correct the carrier frequency phase.

  • Patent number: 4291268
Abstract: A time-constant circuit is employed for gradually decreasing the voltage of an input signal carrying information to be indicated by a deflecting coil type meter so that the voltage of an input signal applied to the following driving stage does not abruptly drop to zero although the power switch of the driving circuit is turned off. A timer circuit responsive to the power switch energizes a relay or a switching circuit to supply the driving stage with electrical power not only for the time that the power switch is on but also for an additional interval after the power switch is turned off so that the driving stage is capable of being responsive to the gradually decreasing voltage causing the pointer of the meter to return to the zero point.
