  • Patent number: 11697272
Abstract: A laminated glass according to the present invention includes a first glass plate, a second glass plate, and an interlayer film. The interlayer film includes a laminated region including a first layer that is in contact with the first glass plate, a second layer that is in contact with the second glass plate, and a third layer disposed between the first layer and the second layer. When the relative dielectric constant of the first glass plate is denoted by ?g1, the relative dielectric constant of the second glass plate is denoted by ?g2, the relative dielectric constant of the first layer is denoted by ?m1, the relative dielectric constant of the second layer is denoted by ?m2, and the relative dielectric constant of the third layer is denoted by ?m3, relationships ?m1<?g1, ?m1<?g2, ?m2<?g1, ?m2<?g2, ?m3>?m1, ?m3>?m2 are established.

  • Publication number: 20100089198
Abstract: A pedal device for a vehicle in which a support member for rotatably supporting a pedal arm is mounted on a dash panel positioned forward of a deck cross member. The pedal arm is pivotally attached to the support member by a pedal-rotating shaft inserted through a pedal shaft hole formed in the support member, and this support member has a pivotal impact lever which is provided above the pedal arm and forward of the deck cross member and brought down toward the pedal-rotating shaft.

  • Patent number: 5224714
Abstract: A noncontacting face seal has a stationary sealing ring and a rotating sealing ring with opposed radially extending sealing surfaces for restricting a fluid flow from a high pressure fluid side to a low pressure fluid side. The rotating sealing ring is moved out of contact with the stationary sealing ring due to hydrostatic force from the fluid. The noncontacting face seal comprises spiral grooves formed in one of the sealing surfaces and extending from a low pressure fluid side to a high pressure fluid side in a radial direction so as to pump fluid from the low pressure fluid side towards the high pressure fluid side, and a spaced portion formed in one of the sealing surfaces and extending inwardly from one circumference of the sealing surface at the high pressure fluid side so as to introduce fluid in the high pressure fluid side between the sealing surfaces.

  • Patent number: 5223758
Abstract: A spindle motor has a rotor supported by a stator through a thrust bearing and a radial bearing. At least the thrust bearing is a hydrodynamic bearing. The spindle motor is provided with a device for adjusting the thrust laod that is applied to the thrust bearing. The load adjusting device has an electromagnet that is provided on the stator and a permanent magnet that is provided on the rotor in opposing relation to the electromagnet. Either the repelling force or the attraction force, which acts between the electromagnet and the permanent magnet, is controlled by changing the current supplied to the electromagnet.

  • Patent number: 5175417
Abstract: When a reception request is made by a customer, a window information apparatus retrieves information corresponding to the reception request from a window storage unit which stores information on businesses and transactions conducted at windows and informs the customer of a suitable window for the reception request. Also, the window information apparatus assigns a receipt number to a reception request from a reception input device and calculates the expected waiting time at a window corresponding to the reception request. The expected waiting time at the window is updated in response to a termination of processing at the window terminal. The updated expected waiting time is output in response to an inquiry of the customer.
