The substrate mounting member has a side surface portion (51a, 51b, 51c, 51d), while a corner portion (51e, 51f, 51g, 51h) of the outer peripheral portion formed by the side surface portion of the substrate mounting member has such a shape that adjacent ones of the side surface portion are bonded to each other without a clearance.

    Abstract: A display unit 5 of an image forming apparatus 1 has an LCD 52 held with an outer frame 51 made of resin molding. The display unit 5 is rotatably attached to a scanner housing 21 with rotation shafts 51 a of the outer frame 51 on the scanner housing 21. The LCD 52 is connected to a circuit board accommodated in the scanner housing 21 through a flexible circuit board 81. A portion of the flexible circuit board 81 extended outward from the vicinity of the rotation shafts 51 a of the outer frame 51 toward the inside of the scanner housing 21 is covered with a protector 53 integrally formed with the outer frame 51. Thus, a creeping distance between the vicinity of the rotation shafts 51 a of the outer frame 51 and the portion of the flexible circuit board 81 drawn from the outer frame 51 becomes larger than a predetermined distance necessary for preventing discharge of static electricity to the flexible circuit board 81 from the outside of the housing 10.

The pressing member includes a top face pressing lever, having a first end portion configured to press a top face of the ink cartridge and a second end portion, and a back end face pressing lever joined integrally with the top face pressing lever at the second end portion thereof, the back end face pressing lever having a distal end portion configured to press a back end face of the ink cartridge.

    Abstract: A carriage body and an openable/closable cover body pivotally attached to the carriage body are included. A pressing member shaped in a bending manner is arranged on the underside of the cover body. The pressing member includes a top face pressing lever having a first end portion pressing the top face of an ink cartridge and a second end portion, and a back end face pressing lever continuous to the second end portion of the top face pressing lever in the bending direction and having its lower end portion pressing the back end face of the ink cartridge. The pressing member is rotatably held to the cover body. Biased by a spring provided between the cover body and the top face pressing lever, the back end face pressing lever presses the back end face of the ink cartridge.
