According to the organic ultraviolet absorbent-containing resin particles, when the particles are used in a cosmetic material, by the organic ultraviolet absorbent is dispersed in the resin, the ultraviolet-shielding effect is high, the burden for contacted skin can be reduced, and the particles can be safely used. It is not necessary to dissolve the organic ultraviolet absorbent in a specific solvent, the particles can be applied to an aqueous cosmetic material, and the degree of freedom for the formulation as a cosmetic material can be improved.
