  • Publication number: 20090199134
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a mobile communication apparatus includes: a display unit that displays a menu screen on which a plurality of icons are arranged as cells in a matrix; an input unit configured to operate a cursor for selecting at least one of the icons; a storage unit that stores priority levels of respective cells, the priority levels indicating priority for assigning the icons into the cells; and a control unit that re-assigns the icons to the cells in order of the priority levels according to the number of selecting operations for the respective icons.

  • Patent number: 5184705
Abstract: An electromagnetic clutch 11 including a rotor assembly 14 with an attraction surface 14d, a field coil assembly with an electromagnetic coil 15 and a coil support yoke 16, and an armature assembly 19. The armature assembly has an armature hub 20 which can be connected to a driven shaft 18, a stopper plate 21 connected to the hub 20, a ring shaped armature 24 and a damper which connects the armature to the stopper plate. The damper has a rubber damper 27 which is held in a damper cover 30a, 30b or 125b. The damper cover includes an open side with bevelled edges. The bevelled edges have an arc-shaped area 30e, 30f or 125c that prevents stress contractions in the end of the rubber damper 27 or 126 to prevent cracking of the vulcanized rubber. A rivet 25 or 124 may also be in the rubber damper. A free end of the rivet has a bevelled arc-shaped area 25a or 124a that limits stress concentrations to prevent cracking of the rubber damper 27 or 126.

  • Patent number: 4608651
Abstract: A control system for a direct teaching/playback type robot, including a low spring constant member connected to a drive source for driving a robot element through a frictional coupling. The control system basically includes a first incremental position detector provided between the robot element and the frictional coupling for detecting the rotational position of the robot element, a second incremental position detector connected to the drive source for detecting the rotational position of the drive source, and a switch for selectively connecting the output terminals of the first and second position detectors to a drive source controller in teaching and playback modes of operation, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4532409
Abstract: A gas shielded arc welding method in which a non-consumable electrode and a filler wire are respectively connected to independent DC power sources and the non-consumable electrode is located in a preceding position, feeding the filler wire from behind the electrode. The non-consumable electrode is held in a forwardly tilted position to form an angle smaller than 85.degree. with a workpiece, and the non-consumable electrode and filler wire are applied with inverse electric currents to thereby control the arc direction for formation of sound joints. A welding apparatus is also disclosed which is capable of effecting arc extension control and oscillation simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 4284440
Abstract: A permanent magnet alloy made by adding one or more of Si, Ti, Zr, V, Nb, Cr, and Mo to a known permanent magnet alloy containing rare earth metals, Co, Fe, and Cu. By adding such additives, the amount of substitution of copper required for full precipitation hardening is reduced in the alloy of the present invention for the improvement in magnetic characteristics and thermal stability.
