  • Publication number: 20190383240
Abstract: Occlusion diagnosis of a vent passage is executed with high accuracy based on an estimated value of the volume of a sealed space. An occlusion diagnosis device includes a diagnosis unit for the diagnosis. An occlusion diagnosis unit of the diagnosis unit executes the occlusion diagnosis, based on whether or not an estimated volume of a sealed space of a fuel-vapor sealing system exceeds a volume threshold. The occlusion diagnosis determines that the vent passage is suspected of being occluded if the estimated volume is equal to or less than the volume threshold, while diagnoses that the vent passage is not occluded if the estimated volume exceeds the volume threshold. If it is determined that the vent passage is suspected of being occluded, the occlusion diagnosis unit suspends the occlusion diagnosis of the vent passage until a cumulative exhaust amount of fluid at least exceeds an exhaust amount threshold.

  • Patent number: 10481251
Abstract: There is provided a radar device that calculates an angle of a target based on a phase difference between reception signals obtained by receiving reflected waves from the target. A transmitting unit alternately transmits first and second transmission waves having different beam patterns. A calculating unit calculates reception levels of the reception signals, and an estimate angle at which the target is estimated to exist. A first determining unit determines a degree of reliability of a level difference between the reception levels, on the basis of a comparison between the level difference with a reference value which is associated with the estimate angle in advance. A second determining unit determines whether the target exists at the estimate angle, on the basis of a determination result and the reception level based on the first transmission wave.

  • Publication number: 20190145857
Abstract: A blockage detection device opens a purge valve in a state where a negative pressure pump is operated. The negative pressure pump is connected to a downstream side of a canister with respect to a fuel tank, and reduces pressure in a device internal space. The blockage detection device calculates gas information (volume V, for example) of the device internal space on the basis of variation of internal pressure before and after the purge valve is opened. The blockage detection device detects a blockage in a vent line using the calculated gas information.

  • Publication number: 20190120716
Abstract: A blockage diagnosis device includes a diagnosis unit that performs blockage diagnosis on a vent passage based on a change over time in an internal pressure of the vent passage in association with the operation of a negative pressure pump. A primary determination unit of the diagnosis unit makes a primary determination that the vent passage is blocked, if a first estimation volume V1 is less than a preset threshold volume Vth. A secondary determination unit of the diagnosis unit makes a secondary determination that the vent passage is blocked, if the second estimation volume V2 is less than the threshold volume Vth. If the primary determination indicating that the vent passage is blocked is made in the primary determination unit, and the secondary determination indicating that the vent passage is blocked is made in the secondary determination unit, the diagnosis unit determines that the vent passage is blocked.

  • Patent number: 10138694
Abstract: A drilling device with improved fuel efficiency, reduced impact on the environment, and the like is provided. Specifically, a drilling device performs unload control of a compressor when an engine starts up, and brings the air pressure in an air tank to a first air pressure. Moreover, the air pressure in the air tank is kept at the first air pressure while the engine is driven and a flushing mechanism is not driven. In addition, unload control of the compressor is performed when the flushing mechanism starts up, and the air pressure in the air tank is increased to a second air pressure that is higher than the first air pressure. For example, the first air pressure and the second air pressure are a low pressure (0.5 MPa) and a high pressure (1.03 MPa), respectively.
