Abstract: A display apparatus through which a user can see the background and which is capable of performing image capturing with high sensitivity is provided. The display apparatus includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element adjacent to the first light-emitting element, a light-receiving element adjacent to the second light-emitting element, a first organic layer provided between the second light-emitting element and the light-receiving element, and a second organic layer provided between the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element over a substrate with a visible-light-transmitting property. The first light-emitting element has a structure in which a first pixel electrode, a first light-emitting layer, and a common electrode are stacked in this order. The second light-emitting element has a structure in which a second pixel electrode, a second light-emitting layer, and the common electrode are stacked in this order.
